5 DIFFERENT CHARACTERS
You can play as 5 different characters, each with a different playstyle. A private detective, a witch, a thief,
a professor, and even a ghoul—each with different stats, weapons, and combat moves, creating five entirely

The truth of the dark horrors that inhabit the universe is unbearable for any human mind. As you learn more
of the Mythos, you become more powerful—but also brings you closer to the brink of madness. You will need

Update 1.31g (09 August 2019)

Dear investigators,

We have uploaded the new version 1.31. In it, we have fixed several bugs, and we have improved the balance of the Professor, as he seemed to be the most problematic character of all five:
Fixes:

We have fixed an issue with a text in German appearing on the description of the first level, for players playing in English.
We have fixed the issue on which the weapons didn´t work when you dragged them from the inventory of the Storage to the player's inventory.
We have fixed the issue that slowed down the inventory of the Strange place when it contained a lot of items.
We have fixed a problem with the minimap.
We have fixed an issue with several mini-events which didn´t count for the achievements.
We have fixed the issue that didn´t let you access to the Secret level when you restarted the Strange place location.
Professor: We have increased the damage of the weapons (not the basic one).
Professor: We have increased the damage of the mines.

Dear investigators,
We have uploaded the new version 1.201 with the final balance of the Ghoul, new improvements and additions, lots of fixes and... The version for Macintosh users!! See the details below:

News and improvements:
The MAC version is available from this patch on and includes every update included in the PC version. Good news for the Apple guys!

Final balance of the Ghoul: We have completed the balance of the fifth character, as well as, of every level and mob that will face in his part of the story.
The Stun attack will kill now the bug traps, and stuns the enemies (those not immune) in a big radius.

The dodge does damage as before.

The secondary attack does bleeding effect.

As a reminder, the ghoul cannot use medkits, but he regenerates HP and can eat meat to heal faster (at the cost of sanity).

Fast travel: many of you thought that when the map is empty and you just need to explore, walking around empty rooms was tedious and slow. In this version, we have included the fast travel. To use it, open the map, press the "J" key, or its equivalent if you play with gamepad, and choose the room where you want to fast travel. Limitations: You can only activate it in a room without enemies, and only to safe rooms.

Professor: We have lowered to difficulty of the Jungle level and the Wyverns won´t apply now the Freeze effect as often as before.

Update 1.196g (05 April 2019)
Dear investigators, We have uploaded the new version 1.196. This time we bring the final balance to the Thief, visual improvements, new music (Yes!! New amazing tracks!!), as well as lots of "behind the scene" fixes and improvements. See the details:

News and improvements:
We have added new music tracks that include:

2 new ambience tracks for the game's levels.
4 reactive looped tracks for combat situations.
Game over track song.
Victory track song, while facing a Great Old One.
Defeat track song, while facing a Great Old One.

Final balance of the Thief: This was a tricky one. We have focused mainly on the difficult progression between levels. The main problem that we saw with the Thief was that in the first levels, she was really weak, and had a lot of survival issues but, once got geared, became a melee tank, losing every part of the stealthy theory behind this character, that we wanted to keep.

We have added a "Bleeding effect" to the basic attack of the Thief.
Bugs and Tentacles traps won´t react if you activate Stealth.
We have reworked the HP & range of the enemies, as well as their behaviour to match the "melee" condition of our character. Still, you will face plenty of range enemies, and you should kill them as quick as you can.
We have added the possibility of "cancelling" the attack of the Thief by moving in the opposite direction to where she is facing. Why this? Because before the character was kind of stuck in the attack animation, and would receive a lot of damage.
We have increased a lot the damage of the throwing knives. They should play now an important part of the strategy. Also, we have lowered their price in the shop.
We are very happy with the final result and, even though the Thief well geared is still a killing machine, the stealthy approach shall be needed most of the time. No more tanking around!

Dear investigators, We have uploaded the new version 1.18. This time we bring the final balance to a new character, plenty of visual improvements, and additional information for the player. See the details:

News and improvements:
We have added a visual effect to the doors that lead to the boss rooms. Get ready before the final fight!
We have added an amazing visual effect to the insanity. Feel more than ever how crazy you become!
We have added to the Credits a group of funny musicians, go take a look!
We have added map stats in the pause menu. Now you can see quickly how many secret rooms, minievents, and rooms you have found.
Main menu: Now you will see the information about the game in progress when you select the "Continue" button. Character, location & Level of difficulty.
Strange place: We have added a list of the items found with their description. Take a look at it at the table.
Strange place: Go take a look at the skeleton.
Strange place: Now the board that shows the information about the Great Old Ones collected, also gives hints about where you can find the missing items.
Strange place: We have improved the Sorting option of the storage. Now also sorts by Object.
We have lowered the priority of books, bones and treasures when picking up objects from the floor. Now, these are the last ones, to avoid filling up the inventory with useless items.
Final balance of the Witch: We have improved the balance of the Witch to offer a fair beginning and a challenging end. Suit up with your most powerful items, and check it out! Warning: There are new enemies and traps out there!

We have fixed the problem with some doors being blocked by a wall.

Update 1.16 (01 March 2019)
Dear investigators, We have uploaded the new version 1.16, in our continuous effort to continue improving our game:

News and improvements:
We have added the intro to our game (it was already time to do it) We really hope that you like it!
We have improved the appearance of the minimap.
We have added a checkpoint in the Detective Mansion right before the Boss. Some people asked us about this because the Mansion is a bit long to play, players are still learning, and having to play it all over again after dying was quite frustrating.
We have added map stats in the pause menu. Now you can see quickly how many secret rooms, minievents, and rooms you have found.
We have added a "Reset progress" button in the Options menu.
Fixes:
Now, the game recognizes and switches automatically between keyboard/gamepad in case there is a gamepad connected to the computer.
We have fixed a problem on Witch unlocking event. Now it works as intended.
We have completed the balance of the Professor.
We have started the balance of the Witch. Try the prologue! It should be easier to complete (still challenging, but much better than before).

Dear investigators, We have uploaded the new version 1.15. These are the fixes and improvements included:

Interface improved:
We have added a keychain to the character's interface for the keys. That means more space for basic items.
We have personalized the inventory of each playable character.
Now it is possible to sort the items of the storage by type of item for a more convenient management of the inventory.
New icons that show the slot of the items (Head, Body, Legs, amulet, weapon, etc...)
General improvements:
New sound effects: We have added plenty of sound effects to the monsters and creatures.
Quest fixed: We have fixed the issue with the zombie quest in the Detective's hospital. Now the zombie won´t disappear if you die and restart the level.
Resolutions on wide-screen: Now the game should be seen properly over non-standard resolutions.
We have completed the balance for the Professor.
We have added new animations in the jungle-based levels.
Fixes to many small bugs that affected the overall experience.

Update 1.1 (15 February 2019)
Dear investigators, The new version 1.1 comes with a lot of fixes, new content, and surprises. Take a good look at the patch notes:

We have improved the shooting system in the game.
Balance improved: We have improved the balance of the Professor up to the Library location. We have reduced the stamina cost of the Explosive shot, but we have increased its delay.
New enemies and traps: We have added new traps and enemies in the Professor's cemetery level and other locations.
New animations and visual elements: Now the plants in the game react when you run through them.
New items: We have added items that give immunity to certain effects like Bleeding, Stun, Traumas, etc...
New sound effects: We have added sound effects to certain consumable objects.
Quest fixed: We have fixed the quest of the mother & child in the Detective's Pogost.
Necronomicon: Now you can find in the levels of the game, and in the shops, different copies of the Necronomicon. Use them wisely and they may grant you valuable objects, access to a secret location, or a certain and terrible death.
Eye of Azathoth: Fixed the issue that hides the map if you use two Eyes of Azathoth in the same location.
Night hunter: Fixed the problem with the Night hunter in the Professor's Cemetery, that appeared frozen if you had already saved the Witch previously.
As you can see, we continue as hard as ever improving, fixing, and adding new things to our game. Please continue being as awesome, and inform us of any issue that you find. We promise to continue giving you all as much support as possible and improving our game.

Update 1.05 (15 February 2019)
Shoggoths in the Ice City: We have discovered and fixed the issue with the Shoggoths turrets, which wouldn´t spawn, blocking the player in a cleaned room.
Achievements: Now it is possible to get the following achievements - Collector of stories, Stories expert, Professional reader, and The end?.
Objects stackable: Now it is possible to stack the "trash" objects (books, treasures, etc.) in batches of 10.
Key reconfiguration: Now it is possible to reconfigure the keys Shift and Alt, and the buttons of the mouse.
Gamepads: Now the gamepads won´t vibrate when receiving a small amount of damage, for example, of the debuffs (Bleeding, acid, poison, etc...).
Visual changes: We have changed the color of the poison debuff to not mistake it with the acid debuff.
Balance changes: We have made changes in the balance of the Detective and the Professor to make the gameplay more interesting.
Minor fixes and general improvement.

1.045 s (15 February 2019)
Shoggoths in the Ice City: We have solved the problems with the regular Shoggoths and the Big boss in this location.
Key reconfiguration: Now it is possible to use the keys Shift and Alt.
Gamepads: We continue working on this. For the moment, just those Gamepads under the standard Xinput will work correctly.
Visual issues: We have fixed some visual problems in the Ice City.

1.03 (15 February 2019)
Quests fixed: We have fixed several quests of the Thief storyline. Now they should work properly.
Sound fixed: Now the heroes scream less often when hurting (Bleeding, Poison, etc...)
Shoggoths fixed: We have solved the issues with the Shoggoths of the Ice City.
Traps: We have fixed the traps in the cemetery type levels. Some were invisible or covered up by elements of the scenery.
Professor: We have fixed a rare bug that upon death, the explosive shoot of the Professor didn´t work, and the player was forced to restart.
Ice City: We have reduced the number of rooms in the Ice City level of the Professor.
Gamepads: We have fixed several issues that the players reported with certain models of Gamepad. For this fix, we need your help. Please try playing the game with the pad that gave you problems and write us on the forums.
Rooms blocked: We have fixed the issue with certain rooms that remained blocked, despite having eliminated every enemy.

1.0 (15 February 2019)
It's been a long and windy road, but we got there at last: Lovecraft's Untold Stories releases today! We're as happy as we are exhausted, and believe us when we say it's been quite a ride! This six months of Early Access has been challenging, but also incredibly rewarding. We got the chance to receive useful feedback from our wonderful community, and thanks to that the game has grown and evolved a lot -- but this is just the beginning! We want to thank everyone who has supported us along the way -- our community of players, our friends and families, and of course every single person from the talented team of people who have worked in Lovecraft's Untold Stories. We have poured our soul and heart into the game, we hope you enjoy it!

And now, investigators, go out there, for Humanity needs you to stop the Great Old One's plans. We wish you the best of luck -- you will need it!

0.965s (15 February 2019)
Thief's Stealth: We have fixed the issue on which Stealth didn´t work if used upon entering a room, and before the enemies reacted to your presence.
Thief's Stealth: We have fixed the issue on which some enemies followed the Thief, even on stealth. Now every enemy will wander randomly, looking for the character. -Scanning device: We have fixed the issue on which the checkpoints didn´t save the effects of the Azathoth's Eye, the chests already opened and the items left on the floor, upon restarting the level.
Visual effects: We have fixed the issue with some visual effects showing up fixed around the playable character.

0.95 (15 February 2019)
NEW CONTENT:
New set of graphics for the Mine type levels: Now levels like the Old Mines, or De la Pour Crypt, have a new set of graphics.
New enemies and traps in the Mine type levels: Be careful, because in these levels you will find now explosive mines and bloodthirsty rodents.
Detective melee attack improved: Now the melee attack also stuns the enemies, making it very useful when you need to escape from those fast buggers.
Detective range attack improved: Now the range weapons of the Detective have a small push effect on every impact, which stops the enemies. (We are still refining this new feature, so it could have some minor issues)
Achievements: The achievements are active. There are still some of them under development, but about 90% of them are operative. Show your progress to the community!
Minimap info: We have added a guide in the minimap, with an explanation of each of the icons that you can see in it.
FIXES & IMPROVEMENTS:
Zoom out of the camera! Plenty of you told us that the basic camera of the game was a bit too close to the action itself. In this patch, we have put the camera farther than before, increasing this way, the general vision range in every room.
We have reduced the size of some locations that were, let's admit it, way too big. Hopefully, this will increase the general pace of the game.
Now it is possible to save the game in the Strange Room: To do this, simply open the Storage. Now it works in the same way as the Scanning devices of the previous patch. If you are tired, and you want to leave the game for later, simply return to the Strange place, open and close the storage, and you will continue from that exact position.
We have fixed all the problems in the Green Fire location. Now everything works as intended.
Fight against the Old Man. Now the portal is properly closed until you defeat the boss.
Solved several issues with the map generation in the Thief levels.
Solved the sound loop issue of the parasites.
Now if you kill Jenkins again, you won´t receive the Sorcerer's notes a second time.
Solved the issue with the Great Old Ones info items. Now you should be able to get 100% of every Great Old One.
Now you don´t see the shadows of the invisible enemies.

0.91 (15 February 2019)
NEW CONTENT:
The Scanning Device: We heard you gals & guys! We read the posts, and we can finally introduce the long-time expected Checkpoints! Now you will find in many locations of the game a special device that connects with the storage of the Strange Place. You can put objects that you don´t need, or that you want to keep, and the device also "saves" the character in that exact moment. If you die afterward, you will start from the Scanning Device, and not from the very beginning of the level!

Be careful, though, because you can do this just once on each location, so choose the correct moment to do it.

FIXES & IMPROVEMENTS:
Now you can properly hit the bottles that summon spirits from every position.
The Machines in the Ice City won´t generate monsters in blind spots.
The Headless major now has full health when facing it.
Now the encounter with the Black Pharaoh works as intended.
The Boss Castro in Innsmouth now works as intended.
Fixed several visual problems in the encounter with Nyarlathotep.
Fixed several places where the character could get out of the map.
The Sorcerer boss in the jungle of the Witch's storyline now works as intended.
The Zugi monsters now work as intended.
The hat of the Ghoul now provides the correct increase of light radius.
The encounter with Shub-Niggurath now works as intended.
The encounter with Azathoth now works as intended.
Thief: The Stealth has been improved. Now works almost as intended. Still remains the bug where enemies will see you, if you use Stealth right after entering a room, and before the enemies react. Until we fix this, we suggest you use Stealth before entering a new room.

Update 0.90g (14 December 2018)
Dear investigators, today we reach a very important milestone for us, the version 0.90, which is the first "Content complete" version. The release date is very close and we just need to work on the last bugs and balance to reach the 1.0!

NEW CONTENT:
Shub Niggurath's encounter: This encounter completes the storyline of the Witch. Face this terrible creature or die trying!
Thief's quest line: We have completed all the minievents, encounters and locations of the Thief storyline.
Nyarlathotep's encounter: This encounter completes the storyline of the Thief. The Black Pharaoh brings death and madness on his way! Will you survive?
Unlock the Ghoul: Now you can unlock our new playable character (Ghoul) in one of the locations of the Thief.
Introducing to the Ghoul: Our last playable character, and the most twisted of all. He is a strong melee character and tank with increible skills:
Melee attack: The Ghoul attacks with his inhuman claws at close range.
Savage attack: Using both claws, the Ghoul performs leap followed by several quick attacks that, not only will do a lot of damage, but also will provoque a bleeding effect to the enemies.
Regeneration: The ghoul can quickly close the wounds and regenerate his health.
Dodge: Use the somersault to avoid traps and obstacles.
Canibalism: The ghoul cannot use medkits, as he is much closer to the beast and his body has suffered already plenty of alterations, but he may find something "tasty" on his way.
Ghoul's quest line: We have included all the minievents, encounters and locations of the Ghoul storyline. This is the first time that we include this, so it may need some updates or tweaks in a new patch before the full release. Your comments will be more than welcome!
Azathoth's encounter: This encounter completes the storyline of the Ghoul.
Ending scenes: We have included the final ending scenes for each story line.
This patch is one step away of the 1.0 version. It is our first "Content complete" version, and you will see the end of Lovecraft's Untold Stories.

Now only remains to fix some old bugs, as well as the new ones that may appear in this version, and improve the balance to its perfection. We are commited to leave this game flawless before its official release!

Update 0.85g (14 December 2018)
Dear investigators, the version 0.85 comes with a lot of new content, and starts showing the light at the end of the tunnel. We are very close to finishing the development of this game and fully release it.

For now, please enjoy what we bring you in this update, and as always, your comments are more than welcomed. Here we go!

NEW CONTENT:
Witch's quest line: We have completed all the minievents, encounters and locations of the Witch storyline. Remains only the final encounter agains the Great Old One, and the items that give you the Info necessary to face it. They will be included in the 0.90.
Witch's exclusive items: We have included in the shops and in the chests items exclusive for the Witch. Find them and feel the power!
Unlock the thief: Now you can unlock our new playable character (Thief) in one of the locations of the Witch. Find her before it is too late!
Introducing to the thief: First hands-on of the Thief. Start getting the feel of our first melee character, while we prepare the locations and the storyline:
Melee attack: The thief has a really sharp dagger for close range attack.
Range attack: The thief is a master of the blades. Find or buy throwing knives and you will be able to kill enemies at distance. There are several types of throwing knives: Regular, poisoned & explosive.
Dodge: Use the somersault to avoid traps and obstacles.
Stealth: The Thief's main skill. Activate it to become virtually invisible. The enemies won´t see you and you will have a boost on the damage. Careful though, because it has a limited time, and you may be seen in the worst situation. Calculate your time, hit & run, and you will survive.

GENERAL UPGRADES:
Map of the level: The map of the level now shows in different colors, the rooms that you have visited, and those that you haven´t. If you use now the Eye of Azathoth to reveal the whole map of the location, you won´t find yourself lost between so many new rooms, not knowing, which one you visited, and which one didn´t.
Also, we have included many quest icons "!" for minievents that didnt have it.
Level of difficulty: When you start a New game, now you can choose a difficulty level between Easy, Normal & Difficult. To those asking, the level of difficulty that you were playing in the previous versions was Difficult.
New level selection screen: Now you will be able to "revisit" locations that you completed previously thanks to our new level selection screen. Start a New Story, select the character that you played with before, and the new screen will popup, with a list of the locations for this character. Those in white, can be visited again.
New visual effects: Now, the debuffs and conditions have a visual effect over the characters and enemies.
New traumas and conditions: The character can now suffer special traumas. You will need Essential salts to cure them.
Great Old Ones info system: We have finally implemented the Info system for the Great Old Ones. Now it won´t be possible to face a Great Old One without having 100% of info about it. If you access its location, you will lose all your sanity automatically. These powerful beings shouldn´t be faced if you are not trully prepared!
Final soundtrack: We have added new more tracks to the locations, as well as variations of the previous ones, to increase the variety of the in-game music.
This patch brings a lot of new stuff, so please share with us your thoughts and comments.

Update 0.84g (09 November 2018)
Dear investigators, the version 0.83 comes with new content fully based on the third playable character, the Witch, as well as fixes and improvements. Here we go!

NEW CONTENT:
-Witch's quest line introduced: We have included the first 5 locations of the Witch's quest line. There are still some more levels to add, things to complete and upgrade on the locations implemented, and the fight against the third Great Old One, in a coming patch. -Changes on the Witch's skills: -- Teleportation: One of the main skills of the Witch. Uses energy and teleports the Witch on the direction of the mouse cursor, out of the danger. Spam this skill and it will keep you alive. The Witch is a Glass Cannon with a huge DPS but very low HP. -- Explosive bones: Remember all those useless bones that you found with other characters? Well, the Witch can give them very good use, making magic explosive devices out of them. They work as the Detective's grenades. -- Ice barrier: Very good to defend yourself and kill the enemies in close range. -Added new basic items: Chocolate & Bandages. The Chocolate will slightly increase your sanity. The bandages will cure the bleeding effect. -Added new mythos items: We have added plenty of new and powerful consumibles. Try them out! -The doctor's bag now also cures bleeding effect. -New sound effects added.

KNOWN ISSUES:
Of course, each time that we include new content, it comes with bugs. We have identified several that we will solve in a coming hotfix:

The basic attack of the Witch has a smaller range than the actual animation shows. It will be increased as it should.
Upon using the Ice barrier, the Witch does a small jump to the right & down. This is not intented.
If you press to throw a explosive bone, and you dont have any, the Witch casts Fire barrier. This is not intented.
In rare cases, when you use an Ankh to resurrect, the shadow of the playable character appears to the left of the character, instead of under.
In the level Shores of Hali there are several graphic issues, like doors with no exit, doors showing in half, and a shop icon showing in the map but not appearing in the room. All of them will be fixed.
We have eliminated many grammar and punctuation issues in the text of the game.
No weapons implemented: The Witch has no weapons yet implemented in the game. They will be in a coming patch.
Some quest elements may not show in the minimap with the "!" exclamation mark icon.
You can use the bandages, even if you are not bleeding, and they will heal you a bit. This use is not intented.
The sound effect of thunder in places with rain repeats itself too much.
Issues in the text. They will be fixed in the future hotfix.
Balance: The balance of the Witch needs to be improved, here you can help us with your comments. If you find rooms or levels too easy or too hard, tell us. This is by nature a very delicate character so keep that in mind. You cannot tank the enemies.
There are plenty of smaller details, fixes and upgrades that we have added in this version, but listing all of them would take us the whole night :) Still, you will feel the game much more solid in this version. Play the Witch, and please share with us your thoughts and comments.

Dear investigators, the version 0.80 comes to impress you all! Prepare yourself because along with the usual improvements in balance, and resolution of bugs, we bring new content that will leave you speechless. Here we go!

NEW CONTENT:
Professor's quest line completed: The quest line of the Professor, that we started in the patch 0.79, comes to an impressive and unexpected end, giving a "Go" to the part of the story on which the main star will be our third playable character, the Witch!!
Added new levels: Expedition to Antarctica, The lost temple, The Library, R'lyeh!
We have included in one of the Professor's levels, the possibility of unlocking the third playable character: The Witch!! You will have to play with the Professor in order to unlock this powerful character.
New playable character, The Witch: For now, you can only play with her, to get used to her skills over the elements, in the same levels of the Professor. Using her magic skull as focus, she can shoot mid-range fire bolts to her enemies, and she can summon auras to protect herself and kill every enemy that may surround her. She can create fire, ice & electric auras. Learn which aura will be more effective against each enemy!!
In a next patch, we will include the special locations and quests of the Witch!
Face the all-mighty Cthulhu: Our second Great Old One encounter! Try to stop its awakening! Use all the knowledge and skills of the Professor to avoid this catastrophe!

GENERAL FIXES
Solved issues in several mini events and quests.
Solved the problem on several locations where the player killed every enemy on the room, but the seals on the doors remained, leaving the character locked.
The shield of the Professor now damages the parasites of the jungle.
Solved the issue where the character lost sanity but appeared a message saying the he recovered sanity.
Solved the issue in the Writer shop, that offered items without cost.

IMPROVEMENTS:
We have improved the balance for the Professor.
Improvements in the AI of the enemies.
We have eliminated many grammar and punctuation issues in the text of the game.
We need a lot of feedback from you on this patch, because the amount of new content is quite important. Play with the Professor, try the Witch, tell us if you find any bug.

Dear investigators, the version 0.78 is available for you to download. In it, we have focused on fixing may bugs that we have found on the road, and added some new things. Check out the detailed notes:

GENERAL FIXES
Fixed the issue where if you used a bettle or ankh while shooting, the character couldnt shoot.
Fixed the issue that some loot appear over the walls
Solved many clipping issues of graphic elements.
Minor fixes of the UI

IMPROVEMENTS:
We have included a new item drop system more balanced. Expect less useless items and more practical ones. No more empty chests.
New system in the shops: Now both the King in yellow and the Writter will offer random objects every time you find them.
Improvements in the AI of the enemies.
We have improved the skills of the Professor. The explosive shot now doesn´t damage the Professor, but we have increased its cost of energy. The shield can be recharged, and now protects the Professor based on the energy remaining in his device. Still, we need to improve the balance of this character.
Chapter selection available: We are aware that many players have completed the game, and they want to replay a specific location. We have added this possibility in the character selection screen. Click on a character, and a menu will pop up with the levels available. In order to see the level list, you need to reach, at least once the Strange Place to activate it, and complete the levels at least once to have it available on the list.
We have included new sound effects, and music.
We have eliminated many grammar and punctuation issues in the text of the game.

NEW CONTENT
Old Mines: We have included new mini-events and the plot quest necessary to access to the new sub-location "Caves of the green fire".
Caves of the green fire: A new plot sub-location for the Old Mines. It includes mini-events and plot quests.
Coastal Township: The first level located in the coastal city of Innsmouth.
Devil reef: First Great Old One encounter. This map is not final, and the rooms will change slightly on future patches. Don't let the cults to awaken Dagon!
Changes on the Strange Place: Now you will find 5 altars, one per Great Old One. You will have to collect information about each Great Old One, and a key, in the different locations and sub-locations of the game, in order to activate the portals to the secret places where these monsters are hiding. You can see in the Strange place now, your progress in the game, and how much information you have acquired of each Great Old One.
New creatures: Dagon cultists, lurkers, Deep Ones.

BALANCING
Balance of the locations
We have improved even more the balance of every level in the game. This is still not the final balance, but definitely makes things much better.

Mansion: We decreased the attack range of the enemies. The mansion now is smaller, and also, the cultist have taken their turrets to other, more strategic, places. You won´t have to face the turrets here anymore, but you will, most surely, find them later on.
Hospital: We have lowered the damage of the Mi-Go, to counter their range and speed. We have lowered the hitpoints of the Abomination, and the damage of its range attack. We have slightly lower the damage of the acid pools.
Countryside Pogost: We have limited the maximum amount of enemies on the room, to avoid the problem of the necromancers summoning undeads non-stop. We have made the necromancers a bit slower.
Old Mines: We have lowered the hitpoints of the big spiders.
Caves of the green fire: The towers re-appear in this location, but they rotate much slower than the old ones, making it easier to run around them and shoot them from behind.

GENERAL FIXES
The enemies of the Countryside Pogost now react to the Ibn-Ghazi`s liquid and stop attacking you, while under its effect.
Now, if you die while fighting the Mi-Go boss of the laboratory, and use an Ankh, the boss won´t appear with you in the room, after you resurrect.
The animation of fly of the Mi-Go boss in the laboratory, now works as intended.
Fixed many issues of objects clipping over each other, with weird visual results.
Fixed visual issues with secret doors, on several locations. Now they look as it should.
Fixed the issue where you could push the corpses of Googs in the Old mines.
Fixed the issue where if you had an item that increased your hitpoints, after resurrecting, you didn't have the full health bar, but only the basic health.
Fixed the issue with the freeze effect of the spiders in the Old Mines. Now the character recovers stamina as intended, when the effects disappear.

Dear all, we have uploaded the new version 0.72 to the servers, and it is ready for download! Please read the patch notes for further details about what we have included:

CONTROL SYSTEM
Mouse support:
The game now supports mouse controls: now you can play with Mouse + Keyboard. You can control with your mouse every part of the interface (inventory, shops, game menus), as well as attack and throw objects in 360º.

Gamepad:
The Help window now doesn’t open up when you press down the right Thumbstick.

Now to throw explosives: hold the left trigger and a cursor will appear. Choose the direction where you want to throw the explosive with the right Thumbstick and release the left trigger when ready to throw. You can still run and dodge will aiming.
Keyboard:
We have changed the default keys for several actions. Please check Controls in the Options menu for further details.

NEW CONTENT
Old mansion: We have included new mini-events in the Old mansion.
Hospital: We have included new mini-events, as well as the storyline main quest.
Laboratory: We have included this new location as a sub-level of the hospital.
Countryside Pogost: We have included new mini-events, and also the storyline main quest. We have included new creatures, and we have changed the mechanics of the miniboss. Now this dark cemetery should be a challenge as well, even for the most skilled investigators!
Crypt: We have included this new location as a sub-level of the Countryside Pogost.
Old Mines: We have included new mini-events.
Expedition to Anctartica: We have included new mini-events.

BALANCING
Balance of the locations
We have improved the balance of every level in the game. This is still not the final balance, because with the new Mouse support, we need to check how hard the game is now for you, so your feedback is more important than ever!

Mansion: We have decreased the difficulty of this level. It is still very challenging but “fair”. Now you won’t get those impossible situations on the very first rooms.
Hospital: We have increased the difficulty and changed the behavior of some enemies. The hospital should be now as challenging as the mansion, in terms of difficulty.
Countryside Pogost: We have included new enemies. We have changed the mechanic of the miniboss. Now should be more challenging than before.
Old Mines: We have included new enemies. We have improved the AI of the enemies, now they shouldn’t get stuck that often on the elements of the scenario.
Expedition to Anctartica: We have included changes on the behavior of the enemies. Now they will do melee attack as well as ranged.
General balance
We have increased the prices in the shops to minimize the difference between the amount of money and info that the player finds in the game, and the basic costs of the items.
The shops will appear more frequently.

GENERAL FIXES
Fixed the issue where the tutorial guide didn’t show the right gamepad buttons.
Fixed the issue where the character appeared over the doors in certain rooms.
Fixed the issue where you could push the corpse of the Gugs in the Old Mines.
Fixed several clipping issues where objects were in illogical positions.
Fixed the issue where, with the parasite status, the character had too much life regeneration.
Fixed the issue in the Countryside Pogost where some doors could be blocked by elements of the scenario.
