The Story

as well as threats within your own court.

Pathfinder: Kingmaker is based on Paizo’s award-winning Pathfinder Adventure Path of the same name.
You certainly don’t need to be familiar with the story, but if you are, you will encounter characters you
know and love as well as a host of brand-new events, companions, allies, and threats that expand and
enhance the original Adventure Path. With help from Paizo and their authors, the story and quests have
been expanded by RPG writer Chris Avellone and the Owlcat team, allowing for even more adventure in
the already rich narrative of the Stolen Lands.

While Pathfinder: Kingmaker is a single-player game, you won’t be adventuring alone. Kingmaker features
a diverse cast of companions and NPCs, including iconic characters from the Pathfinder setting itself.

Your Kingdom
We chose to adapt the Kingmaker adventure path because it features a host of open-world mechanics,
allowing players to experience the story at their own pace as they explore the Stolen Lands, which will
challenge you as both an adventurer and a ruler. Most importantly, the game allows you to claim these
lands as your own, letting you carve your own kingdom from the wilderness. While classic dungeon
crawling and exploration lie at the heart of this adventure, diplomacy, politics, and the ability to lead
troops in the field are also part of the challenge. Choose your allies well, and keep them close while
exploring ancient tombs and ruins — and while dealing with politics in your own court.

As you’ll discover, building a kingdom goes beyond simply building a stronghold: Your kingdom is a
reflection of your character and your choices throughout the game. It is a living thing shaped by your
alignment, your allies, and your ability to lead your people. Not only can your kingdom expand, opening
up new territories and allowing you to build new towns and communities, but your capital city will
physically change based on your decisions, your policies, and even whom you choose to ally with. As your
kingdom grows, a number of factions and neighboring countries will come to you to seek favor—and to
test your strength.

About: What is sweeter than looking down upon the face of a defeated enemy? Perhaps, only the realization that you had to work hard and pay for your victory in blood! The "Pathfinder: Kingmaker - Bloody Mess" DLC lets you bask in the gore and glory of battle, witnessing its bloody traces both on your companions and your enemies.

Here’s how it works:

Bloodstains appear on a character or creature according to the amount of Hit Points they have left. The more wounded a character, the more bloody and battered they look. First blood splatters appear when their Hit Points go down below 80%. Of course, not all creatures in Pathfinder: Kingmaker can have bloodstains at all. As you would expect, those who don't have blood - elemental and incorporeal creatures, for example - are not affected by this feature. Also, while humanoids and animals bleed red, this isn't so for others: for example, the undead show black stains on their clothes, and plants drip green sap.

To clean up your wounded companions, you need to restore their Hit Points by either letting your party rest or using healing abilities.

Players may control the visibility of the new feature with a special setting - "Bloodstains" - which can be found on the "Game" page of the Options menu. The setting is turned on by default.

This new DLC for Pathfinder:Kingmaker includes:
● A new playable race. During the poll to decide which bonus race we were going to add to the game, one particular option was requested a lot (besides the winner - Aasimars): Tieflings, the people with a drop of demonic blood in their veins. They didn't make it into the base game, but became the natural choice for the first piece of post-release content.
● A new playable class. They master the raw power of the elements, channeling it into their wild talents to manipulate the world around them. Kineticists are living conduits of primal energy, deadly both in close and ranged combat.
● A new companion. If you combine a race with a class, you get a character. Welcome your new companion, the Tiefling Kineticist who comes, just like every other companion, with her own storyline. She could also be a romance option and may hold one of the positions in the Kingdom.

The new companion will join your party in the beginning of Chapter 2. Those who would like to add the companion to their current playthrough can do so at any point before the end of Chapter 5 ("War of the River Kings"): the companion will ask for an audience at your throne room. However, we would advise to begin your acquaintance with the character as soon as possible.

An arcane scroll merchant will appear in your capital. The quantity and caster level of available scrolls depends on how high your "Arcane" kingdom stat is.

Furthermore, if you like turning into giant dragons as much as we do, you'll definitely enjoy the fresh, improved models for chromatic and metallic types of these formidable creatures.

Finally, on a more serious note, the last part of this DLC is a new pet. One of our players and our friend, known to the community as Stratagemini, lost his beloved cat Tiger just weeks before the launch of our game. Stratagemini has been with us since the earliest days of development, supporting us every step of the way, providing extensive and enlightening feedback in the alpha, and helping to shape this community into what it is today. Fixed crashing to the main menu when a game over was triggered during the area transition screen because the kingdom was destroyed.
Failed to load the saved game on Mac. Resolution: Fixed.
Some modifiers were erroneously applied to enemies multiple times when you load an auto-save. Resolution: multiple modifiers are no longer applied. Most extra modifiers from old saves that already have this error are removed, but clearing all effects completely is impossible.
Clicking the top right Close icon (X) does not close the window. Resolution: Fixed.
The cutscene with Amiri killing the Defaced Sister at Flintrock Grassland failed to start if Amiri was in combat. Resolution: Fixed.
Some giant spiders at first levels of Tenebrous Depths had 5 AC more than they were supposed to. Resolution: Fixed.
Fixed the DC of spells cast by traps.
Now all the items are de-equipped after the respec.
Scroll of Death Clutch had an incorrect spell. Resolution: Fixed.
Russian version: changed the translation of the Slayer class.

Kanerah and/or Kalikke could break their companion mechanics after respec. Resolution: Fixed.
Jaethal could become undead again and return to worshiping Urgathoa after respec during the last chapters. Resolution: Fixed.
There could be an issue with companion's auto-level-up in some cases. Resolution: Fixed.
The Skeletal Salesman disappeared and became visible again incorrectly if you tried to attack him. Resolution: Fixed
Animal companions and polymorphed characters could perform coup de grâce without the proper animation. Resolution: Fixed.
Several issues with portraits were resolved (including custom portraits disappearing).
The combat log lacked attack number localization. Resolution: Fixed.

Patch 2.0 (06 June 2019)

Highlights:

Balance changes, especially in the first and last chapters of the game, as well as in the Kingdom management system.
New prestige class: added the Aldori Swordlord to the game.
New class: added the Slayer to the game.
New: it is now possible to respec your characters.
New: added new types of different random encounters on the Global Map.
New weapon types added: Nunchaku and Throwing Axe. Weapons that used to be too rare will now be encountered more often (full list in Items section).
New enemies: added boggards, an ancient race of frog people, to the game.
New: story quests that have a time limit will now display a timer once there's only 2 months left.
New: mercs (custom characters) can now be assigned advisor roles.
New: kingdom events that can lead to the destruction of your kingdom will now also tell you which quest must be completed to save the kingdom. This info will be displayed in the kingdom event card.
New: from now on, the kingdom artisans will bring you a special gift every time you rank up their corresponding kingdom stat.
New: added an elaborated expaination to the rank-up dialogues that clearly state the effects of the choices you make.
New: added a special resource that allows to increase the chances of success when resolving a kingdom event.
New: you can now buy BP from the kingdom management interface.
New: from now on, you can see the result that your advisor has rolled during a Kingdom event. You can also see which modificators influenced the outcome. Alas, you'll never found out what happened during past kingdom events.
New: from now on, the kingdom event's or project's card shows whether you have an advisor capable of dealing with it. It will also show whether the advisor has any particular bonuses or maluses when dealing with this task. Finally, once you start an event or project, the card shows which advisor you picked and how many days are left until they're done.
New: when starting work on a kingdom project, you will now be able to see which stats will be affected by the project, if any.
New: a region's card now shows any upgrades the region has. The region window also shows which kingdom stats does this region increase or decrease.
New: the global map now shows the borders of your kingdom. You can pick between 3 settings: show nothing, only show borders, show borders and color the terrain.
New: a faster running speed option! When out of combat, if you click far away from your characters, they will run significantly faster.
New: during character generation and level-up, you will now be able to see who of the party members already has the spell, skill, or teamwork feat that you're currently looking at. Spell scrolls also show party members who already know the spell.
New: on the character progression screen and during level-up or character generation, there will now be a tooltip with information about that character's BAB growth, saving throws, number of spells, as well as a list of their new abilities and spells.
New: a character's sheet now shows their Spell Resistance.
New: while choosing spells during level-up, you'll be able to see the relevant Spell resistance, Spell descriptor and Casting time.
New: location notifications on the Global Map now show what was the new thing that happened there.
New: different events on the Global Map now show different wooden figurines.
New: camping banter can now be seen and heard when resting on the global map.
New: an item's tooltip in the inventory now shows where you have found said items. Very useful when searching for ancient artifact shards for the Storyteller.
New: in the inventory, you can now make a character's backpack or hat invisible.
New: for item stacks, you should now be able to see the price and weight both for 1 item and the whole stack.
New: hovering the cursor over an enemy now shows any effects that enemy has on them.

Areas

In the capital, the names for buidlings built in memory of Kesten Garess and Jhod Kavken have been mismatched. Resolution: fixed.
The bandit camp at the Old Sycamore Outdoor became a bit easier to deal with. Also added a couple of small groups of animals to the area.
At the "Brinewall" area, some of the hellknights and mercenearies didn't join the battle to support their leader. Resolution: fixed.
After the coronation, Annamede and the Brevoy envoys could spawn in the main square of the captial. Resolution: fixed.
When leaving the "Wizard's Laboratory" area during a troll attack on Bartholomew Delgado, an incorrect dialogue could start. Resolution: fixed.
Undead cyclops and bandits in the City of Hollow Eyes weren't always hostile towards each other. Resolution: fixed. Told the bandits that the cyclops were saying names behind their backs, and the cyclops that the bandits are yummy with tea.
One of the loot containers in the City of Hollow Eyes was invisible. Resolution: fixed.
At the "Swamp Witch Hut" area one of the worgs to the south could become unreachable. Resolution: fixed.
Kesten Garess refused to leave the Womb of Lamashtu even after finishing the Season of Bloom. Resolution: fixed. Told him he could leave now.
In the City of Hollow Eyes, Hilla sometimes refused to leave the camp. Resolution: fixed.
Ivar could still be seen in Littletown even after his death. Resolution: fixed for those who haven't entered Littletown yet.
During the final chapter, the second dialgoue with Maegar Varn in Varnhold his portrait wouldn't show. Resolution: fixed.
A raven fell down from a column in the City of Hollow Eyes. Resolution: fixed. Helped the poor thing to get back up.
A brown lizardfolk chieftain would use his trident as a mere club. Resolution: fixed. Couldn't teach him to use a trident properly; had to give him a club instead.
Added a missing map inscription at the "Womb of Lamashtu" area.
In the Camp at the Capital Gates, Nok Nok's final dialogue didn't start. Resolution: fixed.
In the Technic League Hideout, one of the sacks contained 0 nuts. Resolution: fixed.
The enemies wouldn't behave as they were intended to in the "Poacher's Hideout" area. Resolution: fixed. Also, the visuals of the area were improved, and additional loot added to it.
In the House at the End of Time, you could find 2 copies of "The Book of Joyless Triumph". Resolution: Fixed.
At the "Hunting Grounds" area, saving Edna and Julia Aldori from the Greater Enraged Owlbear automatically starts a dialogue with them.
If, after talking to Nyrissa in the "Other World" area, you make a save and load it, the exit from the location will not spawn. Resolution: fixed.
From now on, you can rest in Varnhold (when it's peaceful) without setting up camp.
Fixed weather settings in the "Rotten Cave" area.
Branded Trolls in the "Lone House" area didn't have a brand on them. Resolution: fixed.
Wrong animation when talking to Harrim near an ancient dwarven anvil. Resolution: fixed.
In the City of Hollow Eyes, Pale Yan didn't always come to your aid during the battle with the dragon. Resolution: fixed.
Reworked the way the Siroket fight works in the "Blakemoor Hideout" area. From now on, she shouldn't become invincible for no apparent reason.
In the House at the Edge of Time, the Magical Lantern can now be lit or put out from the belt window.
In the Abandoned Keep, the golem didn't come to your aid during the final battle. Resolution: fixed

Quests

New: story quests that have a time limit will now display a timer once there's only 2 months left.
It used to be possible to save both Kesten Garess and Jhod Kavken in Chapter 3 by coming to Lamashtu's Womb, talking to Kesten, and then going to the capital to save Jhod. This was a bug. Resolution: fixed. You can still save them both if you pick a special neutral option in the final dialogue in Goblin King Fort.
The final dialogue in the troll lair during the last chapter of the game didn't always work or end as intended. Resolution: fixed.
During the final fight with king Irovetti, he could run away during a crucial cutscene if under the effects of fear, which would break tha game scene. Resolution: fixed.
When leaving and entering the Pitax Royal Palace, it was possible to receive additional copies of the "Blakemoor Grimoire" quest items. Resolution: fixed.
In the "Deal with the Devil" quest after defeating Darven and attacking Lynxia, she could become invincible in some cases. Resolution: fixed.
It was impossible to give the Black Whip to Bartholomew Delgado once he had moved to the capital. Resolution: fixed.
It used to be possible to get an infinite number of "Rings of Improved Proficiency". Resolution: fixed.
In some cases, the guard wouldn't help you fight the owlbear near the old clinic. Resolution: fixed.
In the Goblin Fort, the dialogue with the Shaman could start twice. Resolution: Fixed.
In the "Delicate Situation" quest near the Overgrown Pool, Melianse didn't want to acknowledge that Corax sent his men to get some feather tokens. Resolution: fixed. Apparently, the "stubbornness" knob on her control panel got stuck on the "max" position.
In some cases, Irsei Caelysse stayed in the throne room even after you've defeated Irovetti. Resolution: fixed.
The book event before entering Pitax worked incrorrectly, and sometimes it wouldn't let players into Pitax when it should have. Resolution: fixed.
The first dialogue with Valerie in the tavern could happen after finishing the "Judgment of the Gods" quest, which made some of her lines sound weird. Resolution: fixed.

The architect's ghost in the Pitax Palace could still be seen even after it was dealt with. Resolution: fixed.
After the battle in Pitax Square, Stefano Mosconi initiated the wrong dialogue. Resolution: fixed. Made him finally learn his part.
After some of the romance scenes with Kanerah in the tiefling house in the capital, a cut-scene could start playing. In it, Kanerah could be seen talking to invisible Sweet Teeth, while the camera glided to a different room. Resolution: fixed.
The undead elf that Jaethal saved during the "Investigate My Death" quest didn't show up in her room in the tavern. Resolution: fixed. You have to re-enter the taver to enable the fix.
The task "Deal with the cultists" in Tristian's quest "Kingdom of the Cleansed" wouldn't complete properly if Tristian died during the fight with the cultists. Resolution: fixed. If that was the reason for failing the quest, it will be marked as completed, and you will be able to get the consequent quest if you haven't progressed too far in the story.
In the book event near the Ruined Watchtower, failing the skill check could lead to the wrong character getting hurt. Resolution: fixed.
In some cases, the Governor in Irovetti's palace in the final chapter could not spawn. Resolution: fixed.
The quest "A Bloody Craft" wouldn't finish properly. Resolution: fixed.
Making a save game in the main square during Kanerah's starting romance event would lead to her teleporting from the main square inside her house. Resolution: fixed.
Valerie's quest "Shelyn's Chosen" could become failed due to time constraints even if the player has completed the "Act as second at Valerie and Fredero's duel" task. Resolution: fixed. If you've failed the quest due to this, you will be able to complete it if you haven't progressed too far in the story.
It was possible to test Bokken's potion twice in the "Wererat Lair" area. Resolution: fixed.
It was possible to receive multiple sets of Incomplete Lawbringer Armor during the "Lawbringer" quest. Resolution: fixed.
No FX when Harrim destroyed the throne in "The Unmaking" quest. Resolution: fixed.
In some cases, talking to Eobald the Insightful in the main square of Pitax would make it impossible to complete Linzi's quest "A Bard's Calling". Resolution: fixed.
From now on you can return to Troll Lair even if you chose Hargulka or Tartuk as your ally.

Barony forces now find the location of Armag's Tomb 1 month before Armag's forces make a final attack against your barony.
It was impossible to heal Mim Wobblegander's leg using magic in the "Talon Peak" area. Resolution: fixed.
The merchant Hassuf sometimes refused to talk about the burglary during the quest "Confirmation Of Innocence". Resolution: fixed. Now he'll talk. He'll talk real good.
The Briar worked as a Reach Metamagic Rod. Resolution: fixed.

Kingdom

New: mercs (custom characters) can now be assigned advisor roles.
New: kingdom events that can lead to the destruction of your kingdom will now also tell you which quest must be completed to save the kingdom. This info will be displayed in the kingdom event card.
New: from now on, the kingdom artisans will bring you a special gift every time you rank up their corresponding kingdom stat.

Classes & Mechanics

New prestige class: added the Aldori Swordlord to the game.
New class: added the Slayer to the game.
New: a faster running speed option! When out of combat, if you click far away from your characters, they will run significantly faster. You can also disable this in the "Options" menu.
Tristian lacked a second domain. Resolution: fixed. Tristian now should have the Healing domain as second domain.
Clerics that took the Healing domain as a second domain choice used to get their Healer's Blessing at level 8 instead of level 6. Resolution: fixed.
The Alchemist and Magus had an incorrect number of spell slots available at 5th and 6th levels. Resolution: fixed.

Feral Wings used to stack with wings from other sources (for example, from the Aasimar feat). Resolution: fixed. Now abilities that give you wings will switch off when you use Feral Mutagen with Feral Wings.
Nok-Nok and other goblins got +2 to Knowledge (World) from their racial ability Stealthy instead of getting +4 racial bonus to stealth check. Resolution: fixed. Now they should lose the Knowledge (World) bonus and get the proper Stealth bonus.
Friendly touch spells were triggering the abilities that are supposed to be triggered on hit. Resolution: fixed.
Abilities that were giving energy resistance (for example, abilities from Draconic Bloodline) did not scale correctly with level up. Resolution: fixed.
A Rogue did not apply their 1,5 Dexterity bonus to weapon damage from Finesse weapon training due to holding a weapon in two hands. Resolution: fixed.
The storm debuff no longer stays on characters that enter the global map.
Having two identical animal companions in the party could break one of them. Resolution: fixed; from now on, the confused beast hears a soothing voice saying "Don't freak out, dude, he looks nothing like you!".
The bear animal companion's description displayed the wrong stats. Resolution: fixed.
The Shield Wall feat mentioned in its descriptions a number of certain conditions that did not apply to the game (such as shield bash denying the user AC from shield, which does not happen).
Instead of selecting the character with the highest Trickery score to open locked doors and chests, the game used to select the character with the highest rank in Trickery instead of the character with the highest Trickery value overall (it didn't take into account different bonuses and penalties). Resolution: fixed.
The Uncanny Dodge rogue talent (also available to the Eldritch Scoundrel archetype) did not allow attacks of opportunity to be performed before the starting initiative delay had passed. Uncanny Dodge should allow a character to perform attacks of opportunity even before they've acted on their turn (and other instances of uncanny dodge did allow doing so). Resolution: fixed.
The Charming Smile ability of the Charm domain couldn't be used. Resolution: fixed (no botox involved - promise!). It should become usable after resting.
The Shielded Caster feat only worked for casters that had a shield. Resolution: fixed.
Guardian Armor summoned by Create Undead didn't get a +3 weapon bonus from wielding Necromancer's Staff. Resolution: fixed.
Sometimes spells with multiple attacks such as Scorching Ray failed to deal sneak attack damage. Resolution: fixed.
The Aldori Defender (fighter archetype) feature Defensive Parry used to give more AC than it was supposed to. It was giving +1 AC for every three levels after the third, instead of +1 AC for every four levels. Resolution: fixed.
Instant Enemy said that it allows Fortitude saving throw. It does not and should not allow any saving throws. Resolution: description fixed.
Creatures falling prone in the area of Obsidian Flow did not receive damage. Resolution: fixed.
Resting in a hub took 7 hours instead of 8. Resolution: fixed.
It used to be possible to make a dead companion perform tasks during rest. Resolution: fixed. Got a call from the Department of Death legal team; apparently, making dead employees work during rest time is against the Civil Rights Act of 1964.
Kineticist substance infusions no longer need to be deactivated and activated again to update their DC after stat changes.
A Duelist with dueling sword and Aldori Dueling Mastery feat was not doing his precise strike damage. Resolution: fixed.
Arcane Bomber and Alchemist levels did not stack for the purpose of determining their bomb damage. Resolution: fixed.
Arcane Bomber's bombs were not affected by Precise Bombs and Fast Bombs discoveries. Resolution: fixed.
Sorcerers with the Draconic bloodline no longer get excessive uses of Breath Weapon on 9th level.
Madness domain's Visions of Madness abilities now have unique names.
Protection domain's Resistant touch now correctly suppresses the resistance bonuses on the cleric.
Magic domain's Dispelling touch now has the correct number of uses per day.
Glory domain's Touch of Glory now correctly applies bonuses to Charisma-based skill and ability checks.
"Hardy" dwarf racial trait now correctly works on first saving throw against poisons afflicted by enemies' natural attacks.
Empyreal Sorcerer now correctly uses his Wisdom modifier instead of his Charisma modifier to calculate the number of uses of Heavenly Fire ability.
Polymorphing into a Shambling Mound granted 1d6 slam attacks instead of 2d6. Resolution: fixed. If you have this buff active, reapply it for the changes to work.
Fighting Defensively and Combat Expertise switched off only after combat, even if the character using them only made one attack. They should switch off every round a character does not make attacks. Resolution: fixed.
Thassilonian specialists that learned all their available spells from scrolls could not level up and were stuck at selecting new spells. Resolution: fixed.
Thundering Claw of the Bear God did not give bonuses to the wielder's attacks in Wild Shape and did not give bonuses to the wielder's companion. Resolution: fixed.
An alchemist using Fast Bombs always considered the target of his attacks flat-footed. Resolution: fixed.

Items

New: added Nunchaku and Throwing Axe weapon types.
Dwarven Urgrosh, Dwarven Waraxe, Fauchard, Flail, Shortspear, Dart, Double Sword and Double Axe items, which used to be extremely rare, have been added as loot to various areas throughout the game. The number of Battleaxe, Earthbreaker, Gnome Hooked Hammer, Great Club, Heavy Flail, Light Hammer, Light Mace, Longspear and Starknife items available have also been increased.
The mace "Sovereign" didn't not provide stackable bonuses. Resolution: fixed.
The vendor at Rushlight Festival had an incorrect type of shield. Resolution: fixed.
The gloves "Ultimate Grip" listed incorrect spell and caster levels. Resoltuion: fixed.

The "Forest Knight's Bracers" could have granted a permanent buff. Resolution: now in the end of fight or when unequipping, the buff is removed. If your character already has a permanent buff from these bracers, just unequip and equip them.
Hearty Meal had a typo in the description. Resolution: fixed.
Some weapons didn't have properly working Mithral, Cold Iron and Adamantine Enchantments. Resolution: fixed.
Some of the Heavy Shields available as loot had the incorrect item type assigned to them, rendering them unusable. Resolution: fixed.
Some of the masterwork items couldn't be sold using the "mass sale" feature. Resolution: fixed.
The Alkaline Mace was incorrectly attributed to Varrask. Resolution: fixed.
Two-handed axes could be labelled as one-handed. Resolution: fixed.

User Interfaces

New: during character generation and level-up, you will now be able to see who of the party members already has the spell, skill, or teamwork feat that you're currently looking at. Spell scrolls also show party members who already know the spell.
New: on the character progression screen and during level-up or character generation, there will now be a tooltip with information about that character's BAB growth, saving throws, number of spells, as well as a list of their new abilities and spells.
New: a character's sheet now shows their Spell Resistance.
New: while choosing spells during level-up, you'll be able to see the relevant Spell resistance, Spell descriptor and Casting time.
New: you can now buy BP from the kingdom management interface.
New: from now on, you can see the result that your advisor has rolled during a Kingdom event. You can also see which modificators influenced the outcome. Alas, you'll never found out what happened during past kingdom events.
New: from now on, the kingdom event's or project's card shows whether you have an advisor capable of dealing with it. It will also show whether the advisor has any particular bonuses or maluses when dealing with this task. Finally, once you start an event or project, the card shows which advisor you picked and how many days are left until they're done.
New: when starting work on a kingdom project, you will now be able to see which stats will be affected by the project, if any.
New: a region's card now shows any upgrades the region has. The region window also shows which kingdom stats does this region increase or decrease.
New: the global map now shows the borders of your kingdom. You can pick between 3 settings: show nothing, only show borders, show borders and color the terrain.
New: location notifications on the Global Map now show what was the new thing that happened there.
New: different events on the Global Map now show different wooden figurines.

Resolution: Now the combat log tooltip shows them as bonuses and penalties from Fighting Defensively/Combat Expertise instead.
Energy-related enchantments weren't displayed in the "Qualities" list of a weapon. Resolution: fixed.
Fixed familiars sometimes appearing on the map or kingdom interface.
Quest notifications could appear blank. Resolution: fixed.
Spell-Like Abilities used to always show a spell level of 0. Resolution: fixed.
Filling up all the slots in a vendor's trade window and then selling or clearing all of them lead to only the first slot working correctly (all the others would not display the items that have been put there). Resolution: fixed.
Fixed incorrect information appearing in the tooltip for the secondary part of a magical double weapon.
When using the Force move cursor, it was impossible to open the Inspect window when clicking on a creature. Resoluion: right-clicking on a creature with Inspect turned on opens a window.
From now on, corpses will not be highlighted or selectable during combat with Inspect on.
Hitting "Default" in the difficulty settings screen used to always set the difficulty to Custom. Resolution: from now on, it will reset the difficulty to the one that the player started the playthrough on.
The UI section that displays a companion's story would sometimes get stuck and show on your main character. Resolution: fixed.

Audio

The Throne Hall ambience started twice when switching to it from the Kingdom Management mode. Resolution: fixed
Some magic effects played annoying sounds when leaving a location. Resolution: fixed.
Characters could erupt in battle cries even when unconscious. Resolution: nerfed. Too imbalanced.
Animal companions play much fewer sounds in idle mode.
Mastodon's sounds frequency was significanlty reduced.

Misc

Some of the kingdom artisans had incorrect visuals. Resolution: fixed.
The "Death Ward" spell had the wrong description in Russian. Resolution: fixed.

In the House at the Edge of Time, interacting with mirrors before the quest "Mirror Memories" starts would display the wrong text.

In the House at the End of Time, the Magical Lantern will shine a different color depending on the current state of the House.

In the "Troll Wilderness" area, some of the monsters couldn't be attacked in some cases. Resolution: fixed.

In the "Goblin Fort" area, some of the freed prisoners couldn't reach Kesten's camp. Resolution: fixed.

At the "Temple of the Elk" area, a portal transition zone wouldn't disappear when it should. Resolution: fixed.

At the "Temple of the Elk" area, it was hard to see Tristian behind the bear's corpse. Resolution: fixed, now the corpse will dissapear.

Ilora Nuski could appear in Pitax's main square even if she was killed earlier. Resolution: fixed; if killed, she's buried with a stake through her heart.

Edrist Hanvaki could be found in the tavern even after he was supposed to be executed. Resolution: hired an executioner with a better work ethic.

Moved the stones that got in the way of bloodshed at the Bald Hilltop.

At the "Pitax Royal Palace" area, not all area transitions would be displayed. Resolution: fixed.

Some areas didn't have fog of war. Resolution: fixed.

You will no longer see your animal companions in your mystic dream at Oleg's Trading Post.

Drastically reduced the difficulty of protecting Oleg's Trading Post from the bandit attack.

The "Pine Patch" area wouldn't be marked as explored if the player got there from the book event in which they search for Tartuccio.

In Jubilost's "Inconsequent Debates" quest, if the player left the area, their party would consist only of their main character. Resolution: fixed. Now the player can assemble a party when leaving the area.

One of the tasks in the quest "A Simple Favor" would be displayed at the wrong time. Resolution: fixed.

A copy of Maegar Varn would still be standing in Vordakai's Tomb even after assigning him as an advisor in the capital. Resolution: fixed.

After the battle in Littletown during "War of the River Kings", Ivar wouldn't turn back into a human. Resolution: fixed.

The quest "Trail of Misfortune" didn't work as intended. Resolution: fixed.

The addendum that informs players of Auchs and Donovan no longer being a threat during the battle at Stag Lord's Fort could be displayed at the wrong time. Resolution: fixed.

The tavern in the capital didn't always display its name. Resolution: fixed.

From now on, there will be priests who sell and read scrolls in every regional settlement.

Fixed an occasion where automatic kingdom management could get stuck and refuse to skip time.

From now on, the quick trade settings will be carried over from one game session to the other.

Fixed an issue with displaying tooltips in the stash.

Some players could have lost Martial Weapon Proficiency that they have taken as a feat. Resolution: fixed. Martial Weapon Proficiency will be restored to all characters once they load their save.

Added buffs to inform the player about the current weather effects.

A Graveknight summoned by an Create Undead spell did not have the usual undead immunities. Resolution: fixed.

The muse-touched aasimar's spell-like ability will now work on the evil spirit in Lizardfolk Village.

Thassilonian Wizards couldn't use spells from the "Arcane Unleashed" DLC. Resolution: fixed.

The barbarian vendor didn't have any weapons or equipment. Resolution: fixed.

Some wands and scrolls that required a DC value didn't have it. Resolution: fixed.

From now on, a fired custom companion will surrender their equipment before leaving.

Marksman's Headset didn't provide a bonus to Deadly Aim. Resolution: fixed; to make sure it works turn the Deadly Aim ability off and on again.

Some weapons didn't have properly working Mithral, Cold Iron and Adamantine enchantments. Resolution: fixed.

Dark Acolyte's Robe had an incorrect description. Resolution: fixed.

Improved the looks of the area in Jubilost's "Inconsequent Debates" quest.

Improved door textures in the Sepulcher of Forgotten Heroes.

Improved the level of detail in the main square of the un-upgraded capital.

Players were able to unlock several achievements aimed to mark the completion of the main campaign while playing the "Varnhold's Lot" DLC. Resolution: fixed.

Updated item and spell descriptions in the DE localization. Improved DE, FR and ZH localizations.

Areas

Minor NPCs at the "Camp at the Capital Gates" area will now react with short quips if the player interacts with them.
At the "Swamp Road" area (the place where you first meet the Technic League), a companion that was given up as a slave would return to help the player fight if they got attacked during rest. Resolution: fixed.
Resting in the Ravaged Capital in the last chapter of the game will now skip time, as it should.
On the global map, the "Pitax River Bend" area would still look like it hasn't been visited before even after it has been. Resolution: fixed.
Corrected the difficulty of skill checks at the "Rushlight Fields" area.
Tiefling could get so confused when entering the Throne Room that they could lose their tails somewhere. Resolution: glued those tails on there for good.
At the "The Tomb's Threshold" area, Cephal wouldn't receive the "Staff of the Whispering Souls" from friendly Zordesh, as he should. Resolution: fixed.
In the "House at the Edge of Time" area, it will now be easier to get Nyrissa's Third Key. From now on, the player can get to the room where it is held straight from the cellar - the location that used to be between them has been removed. Also, the player doesn't have to be in a specific state to be able to get the key. Finally, the key icons will now be displayed as quest items.
Before the final dialogue in Varnhold in the final chapter, Maegar Varn and his warriors could run away to random locations on the map. Resolution: fixed.
At the "Abandoned Keep" area, a certain book was hard to find and pick up because it wasn't highlighted properly. Resolution: fixed.
In the "Littletown" area, the bards' animations wouldn't work properly during combat. Resolution: fixed. Also, the bards at the Littletown tavern will now have more ambient animations. The difficulty of the diplomacy check in the same tavern has been increased. Finally, Irovetti has decided to dispatch a guard regiment to better protect his bards in Littletown.
After the battle at the "Pitax Square" area, Stefano Mosconi would start the wrong dialog. Resolution: fixed.
During the drunken melee event at the "Rushlight Fields" area it was possible to use buffs, armor and magic items. Resolution: fixed.
At the "Goblin Fort" area, the cutscene of prisoners running away has been improved.
Not all options were available during the dialogue with Kharn Vereel in the "Pitax Town" area. Resolution: fixed.
From now on, after Linzi's final cutscene in the House at the Edge of Time, the items she's wearing will return to the party's inventory.
Anoriel Eight Eyes and Arsinoe stood on the same spot after the final cutscene in the "Camp at the Capital Gates" areas. Resolution: fixed for those playthroughs that haven't reached that cutscene yet.
At the "Fey Glade" area, the camera could be moved far away out of the bounds of the actual map. Resolution: fixed.
Characters would stop attacking their "personal Souleaters" after the first attack. Resolution: fixed.
Flying stones have been sighted at the "Varisian Caravan" area. Resolution: flying stones herded off to undisclosed location, all witnesses taken care of.
It was impossible to loot a barrel in the port of Pitax. Resolution: the barrel is now empty, and over at the Pitax Royal Palace, ranger Gaetane's backpack has suddenly gotten heavier.
In the "Lonely Barrow" area, one of the containers wouldn't become highlighted when hitting Tab. Resolution: it was removed, and its contents moved to a different container nearby.
When meeting the General from "Varnhold's Lot" DLC in the final chapter, they could appear as hostile to the player. Resolution: fixed.
Some of the chests in the House at the Edge of Time had incorrect loot, or even no loot in them. Resolution: fixed.
One of the loot containers in the Hunting Lodge didn't work. Resolution: fixed.
During the first fight with Kalannah, sometimes all opponents became friendly towards the player. Resolution: fixed.
At the "Other World" area, it was impossible to disarm one of the traps. Resolution: fixed.
Wrong title on an entrance in the House at the Edge of Time: it stated "Second Floor", but lead to the basement. Resolution: fixed.
Important Pitax NPCs will now be marked on the local map.
Annamede Bellavarah and Ilora Nuski didn't leave Pitax Town in some cases, even when promising to do that. Resolution: fixed.
One of the traps in the Whiterose Abbey didn't work as intended. Resolution: fixed.
Added tooltips to the local map for the "Ravaged Capital" area.
In the final chapter, the enemies at the "Flintlock Grasslands" area displayed the wrong visual effects and dropped loot when they shouldn't have. Resolution: fixed. The fix will apply once you leave and re-enter the area.
At the "Wilderness Clearing" area, where the encounter with townsfolk fleeing from the capital takes place, the local map didn't show an area exit marker. Resolution: fixed.
In the area "Sharp Fangs Tribal Camp", a few skeletons were spotted hanging in mid-air. Resolution: fixed.
In Varnhold, the dialogue between Varn and a Merchant would get entered in the log more than once. Resolution: Fixed.
Added new enemies to the House at the Edge of Time - Autumn Golem and Summer Golem. This should make the encounters in the area a bit more varied.
In some cases, the Governor could not spawn in Irovetti's palace in the final chapter. Resolution: Fixed.
In the "Adamantine Shield Fortress" area, corpses could float in mid-air. Resolution: fixed.
At the "Vordakai Tomb" area, you can now attack the daemon guard not only from dialogue.
At the "Varnhold Stockade" area, your characters could pass through one of the walls. Resolution: fixed.
At the "Vordakai Tomb" area, some of the low-level scrolls in loot containers have been exchanged for higher-level scrolls.
At the "Armag's Tomb" area, some of the barbarians never left, even when they intended to. The same happened to Amiri in the House at the Edge of Time. Barbarian stubbornness? Resolution: fixed.
In the Pitax palace, a door couldn't be opened because it was locked "from the other side" no matter which side you pick.
During the illustrated event at Pike Stretch, depending on player's choices the acting character didn't die while the text stated otherwise. Resolution: fixed.
At the ''Kellid Barbarian Camp" area, the party will now rest after the book event.
Added a bark from the main character which signalizes that the party has entered a magic-hampering zone in the Abandoned Keep or the House at the Edge of Time.
In some areas, the Raven didn't have a portrait. Resolution: fixed.
In the "Ravaged Capital" area during the final chapter, players could sometimes fall through the ground textures. Resolution: fixed.

Quests

The task "Find three mirrors" of the "Mirror Memories" quest wouldn't complete even once the whole quest has been finished. Resolution: fixed.
While travelling to "The Tomb's Threshold" area, Cephal and Varn could misremember the outcome of the events in the Old Stump village. Resolution: fixed.
In some cases, the final dialogue with Amiri during the "Reforged Blade" quest could start twice. Resolution: fixed.
The different tasks of the "Affairs of the Heart" quest wouldn't complete as intended. Resolution: fixed.
Added a lingering objective to the "War of the River Kings" quest to avoid having this quest with no active objectives.
In some cases, Ilora Nuski would be incorrectly assumed as still alive during the dialogue in the throne room after defeating Irovetti.
Kanerah and Kalikke will not discuss the events in Aldori's mansion if the player has installed the "Wildcards" DLC after finishing the prologue.
The player is now able not to deal with Irlene at her first dialogue.
Former bandits, who switched over to the player's side during the fight with Stag Lord, will now leave the Stag Fort once the player leaves it.
Edrist Hanvaki's dialogue didn't allow to tell him about his brother's death if the player didn't carry the brother's letter, which led to confusion. Resolution: it is now possible to inform Edrist about Tomin's death, although Edrist would still ask for a letter as a proof.
The task "Read Kesten's note" in the "Witch Hunt" quest would fail upon the completion of the quest. Resolution: the task will now complete when talking to Kesten at the "Shrine of Lamashtu" area.
The quest "The Nature of the Beast" now fails if the quest "Troll Trouble" has reached the "Check up on the reclusive mage" stage.
Some of the events connected to the quest "An Amusement for the Nobles" happened even if the player refused to take part in it. Resolution: fixed.
In the "Season of Bloom" quest it was sometimes possible to skip the "Go up the Gudrin river to find Kesten and his militia" task, also leading to it staying active until the end of the quest. Resolution: fixed.
Missing localization for two quest completion texts added.
It was possible to make certain skill checks several times during the dialogue with Willas Gunderson about the events at Candlemere, gaining experience for each successful throw. Resolution: fixed.
The dialogue option that allowed to attack the mesmerized cyclopes at the "City of Hollow Eyes" area didn't work. Resolution: fixed.
Tiressia will stop providing more feather tokens once the "Delicate Situation" quest has been finished.
Players will no longer be able to initiate a mutiny against captain Martyn in Pitax tavern if they already revealed Wellar's plot to Martyn.
In "The River's Justice" quest, some of the NPCs had to leave during the dialogue with Eimar, but didn't. Resolution: fixed.
After killing Old Kagar during the "Lost Child" quest, the player could receive the wrong version of the "Talk to the boy's mother at the capital tavern" task. Resolution: fixed.
The player could receive one of the tasks of the quest "A Simple Favor" at the wrong place and time. Resolution: fixed.
At the Old Sycamore, sending the kobold and mite hunters to be eaten by the worg will now fail the "Death to Worgs" errand.
In the "Earthbreaker" artisan quest, the inquisitor had an incorrect appearance and characteristics. Resolution: fixed.
The unicorn that is needed to complete the quest "A Simple Favor" can now be found in the Narlmarches.
Varrask's Enemy didn't show up in the Secluded Lodge if the "Witch Hunt" quest is active. Resolution: Varrask's Enemy stays away from the Secluded Lodge only during "Witch Hunt" events that happen at the lodge itself.
Jubilost no longer tells he is working on solving the riddle if the riddle has already been solved.
Tirval could be asked about the militia before the appropriate quest had started. Resolution: fixed.
Made sure that friendly Hargulka and Tartuk appear in the "Troll lair" area in the final chapter when they should.
The illustrated event at the barbarian camp at the "Varnhold Vanishing" chapter provided two almost identical paragraphs if the player met and didn't kill Bolga at the old spriggan's lair. Resolution: only one line is shown now.
The dialogue with Kargadd's children could happen before the player had met Kargadd while implying that the player already had. Resolution: fixed.
The "Talk to Kimo" objective didn't complete as intended in the "Affairs of the Heart" quest. Resolution: fixed.
Octavia's mother, Marchioness Clarida Della Fiorni, would appear in the throne room too soon - before the completion of the "Highborn at Heart" quest. She could also appear before the player under various guises (as a dwarf, orc, gnome, etc.) Resolution: fixed. Now she'll stand next to Valerie in the capital square. Her passion for dressing up has been reduced to the minimum.
During the Rushlight event Irovetti addressed Valerie even though she wasn't in an active party with the player. Resolution: fixed.
Tristian was talking during the dialogue with Tsanna at the "Secluded Lodge" area even though he wasn't in the player's party. He did the same during the dialogue with Eimar at Rushlight. Resolution: fixed. Taught the telepath some basic eavesdropping manners.
Jhod called the player "baron" before the player actually became one. Resolution: fixed.
In the quest "The Curse of Candlemere", it was possible to complete the quest, but not have the opportunity to tell Willas Gunderson about that. Resolution: Fixed.
The herbs needed for the "Swamp Bouquet" errand can now be bought from some merchants (Bokken, goblin trader, the trader in the Dire Narlmarches settlement).
In some cases, Darven didn't give the player their reward in the Secluded Lodge during the "Deal with the Devil" quest. It was also easy to miss him and leave the area without talking to him. Resolution: Fixed.

Hotfix 1.2.6 (6th March 2019)

Areas

Nyrd Zottenropple didn't start a dialog with the player in the area "The Menagerie". Resolution: fixed.
Nyrissa could botch the resurrection of Tristian, Kalikke and Kanerah in their respective Tests of Loyalty and start talking to their lifeless bodies. Resolution: fixed.
Some players could get stuck in the kobold'c cage on the first level of the dungeon under the Old Sycamore. Resolution: fixed.

Quests

During Jaethal's second companion quest, "Chase My Shadow", siding with Enneo in the final dialog would result in a fight with an unkillable Jaethal. Resolution: this time, she won't be coming back (hopefully...).
The quest "An Amusement for the Nobles" could, in rare cases, end up with the hunt becoming unfinishable because of the dialog with Jamel Visser. Resolution: fixed.
During the "Investigate My Death" quest, at the "Thorn River Bank" area, the camera would pan outside the map bounds. Resolution: fixed.
The global map encounter that starts the second part of Tristian's companion quest ("Saving Grace") would not happen if the player already completed the quest "War of the River Kings". Resolution: fixed. If you have already finished the latter quest, but not the "Against All Odds" quest, the encounter will happen while travelling on the global map.

User Interfaces

If a character was standing in snow, snow would also be visible in their inventory screen. Resolution: fixed.
In the class progression screen, some of the previously chosen abilities didn't display correctly. Resolution: fixed.
In some cases, when there was only one character left in the party, the interface would incorrectly display who will be passing a skill check (i.e., during dialogs). Resolution: fixed.

Items

After loading the game, shields' descriptions could stop showing their proper qualities (such as enchantments, etc.). Resolution: fixed.
Owners of the Ring of Circumstances could only activate up to 3 abilities at the same time, instead of 4. Resolution: fixed.

Miscellaneous

Hired dance instructors for centaurs to make their attack animations look less stiff and more natural.
Audio: party banter voiceovers in DLC2 didn't playback on the Global Map. Resolution: fixed.
Last Azlanti saves could in rare cases get overwritten when starting a new campaign in Last Azlanti mode. Resolution: fixed.

When playing "Varnhold's Lot", a camping encounter could happen that breaks the game. Resolution: fixed.

At the Rushlight Tournament, some of the NPCs had incorrect visuals (females appearing as males, etc.). Resolution: fixed.
There was no fog of war in the "Goblin Fort" area. Resolution: fixed.
Some mischievous fey have once again stolen the body of a dead woman at the "Swamp Witch's Hut" area. Resolution: found them and convinced to put the body back where it belnogs.
It was impossible to talk to Nyrissa once she had been in a fight at the "Everblooming Flower Cradle" area in the First World. Resolution: fixed.
Sometimes when moving between areas, some random point in the fog of war would become revealed. Resolution: fixed.
The camera no longer gets stuck outside the playzone at the "Poachers' Hideout" area.

Quests

The "On the Edge" quest didn't show as completed or failed in some cases. Resolution: fixed.
The "Go to Pitax" objective of the "War of the River Kings" quest now correctly completes after entering Pitax.
If saved, Nilak could dissappear upon the completion of the "Flintrock Grasslands" area, making the player fail Amiri's companion quest. This happened in some cases when the player had previously completed Tristian's quest "Betrayer's Flight". Resolution: fixed.
In the quest finale at the "Flintrock Grasslands" area, after loading the game, Amiri could come to the player and start the wrong dialog. Resolution: fixed.
In some cases, the Hellknight in the quest "Feast of Nails" could interrupt the dialog and leave. Resolution: fixed.
Kalikke would incorrectly not terminate her romance with the player if one of the Sweet Teeth died or if the player sacrificed them to save the sisters. Resolution: fixed.
Members of the player's party could get stuck when walking on the walls of the Adamantine Shield Fortress. Resolution: fixed.

Kingdom

The "Problem with Taxes" and "Letter from Brevoy" kingdom events could get stuck in an uncompleted state if they begun on version 1.0.9 of the game. Resolution: fixed. For good-aligned characters, Oleg will not be taxed twice, and a project allowing to rebuild the road ro Restov will appear. For neutral-aligned characters, Oleg's Trading Post will become a part of Restov, and a project allowing to improve diplomatic relations with Restov will appear. For evil-aligned characters, the barony's army will intervene at the trading post, and a project allowing to improve local fortifications will appear.

User Interfaces

Quest objective status notifications wouldn't close when clicking on the "x" button. Resolution: fixed.

Classes & Mechanics

The Holy Lance ability from the Good Domain now works correctly.

Misc

Punctuation marks had dissappeared from the Chinese localisation of the game. Resolution: fixed.

Animal companions try to interact with usable objects. In some occasions, this may block the playthrough. Resolution: from now on, animal companions will interact with usable objects only if no other units are selected.

Areas

During your first dialogue with Kaessi, the camera could move to a strange position. Resolution: fixed.
The game could crash if the player moved between areas while polymorphed. Resolution: fixed.

Items

Equipping items on dead party members did not show the equipped item as removed from the stash. Resolution: fixed.

UI

When entering the inventory screen from the global map, lighting could stop working properly. Resolution: fixed.
Double-clicking an inactive companion portrait in the inventory screen will no longer move the camera to some random location.

Visual improvements in the "Elven Camp" area: removed terrain visual artifacts.

Dear pathfinders, As the new year takes its course, we are happy to announce that we're ready to share Version 1.2!

This new pack of fixes and improvements is based on your suggestions we keep receiving both from forums and the in-game reporting system (available by pressing F11). Thank you so much for your contribution - your feedback lets us make the game better every day!

We know that a lot of our players are complaining about the long load times. It's a serious technical issue and, unfortunately, we canot fix it in one fell swoop. However, we're doing our best to mitigate this pain. We have been able to greatly increase initial loading time in previous patches. And there is a major improvement in Kingdom management interface we implemented in this patch that will eliminate loading time between different Kingdom UI windows. We keep looking for other things we could do to fix this problem, so stay tuned for further improvements!

Be aware that the update is really huge - you will have to download around 18 Gb! The reason the update is so big is that we are working on the loading time issue, so we had to repack almost all game data.

We would like to thank all of you who are sending us the bug reports with the typos. We are doing our best to correct them as soon as they are discovered. Thanks to you all, the Version 1.2 holds a large number of such fixes!

Finally, let us assure you once more that work on the Pathfinder: Kingmaker will not stop for a single day. Right now, the development team keeps working on the next patch which should fix - as we hope - all known issues that remain on our task list.

Patch Highlights:
System: Loading times have been significantly reduced.
New setting: you can now choose to significantly decrease loading times in kingdom management screens at the cost of higher RAM and VRAM consumption.
Multiple difficulty improvements in Chapters 6 and 7.
New feature: you can now enable camera following. Just double-click a character's portrait or hit F to enable it, and disable it by manually controlling the camera (WASD, arrow keys or pressing on the mouse wheel). Camera-following is also automatically disabled on battle start.
New feature: to save yourself a loading screen, you can now hover your mouse cursor over the table in the throne room, and you'll see an exclamation mark if anything new has happened in kingdom management while you were gone.

Quests

During Nok-Nok's companion quest, the player could gain "Hero" and "Jester" points by maing certain decisions and picking certain dialogue options. Gathering a high enough number of these points was the only way to open the relevant story paths for Nok-Nok during the quest arc's finale (and thus save him at the House of the Edge of Time later on). However, it was unclear how to gain said points, which lead to most players getting stuck with the quest arc's "bad ending" and Nok-Nok dying, even if they completed his quests in an otherwise appropriate manner. Resolution: we are streamlining this mechanic. The players will now always be able to select either the "Hero" or the "Jester" path for Nok-Nok during the quest arc's finale. Which path is open to them depends on what type of points they acquired more of.
A dialogue option discussing Valerie's scar didn't disappear from her dialogue even after completing her quest. Resolution: fixed.
From now on, Irlene will take the Chest of Genuine Gemstones from the player when the player delivers it during her quest.
The dialogue with Jubilost about the "Inconsequential debates" never ended if the quest was failed. Resolution: fixed.
In the "Twice-Born Warlord" chapter, being able to save Nilak (and Dugath, if he survived so far) depended on whether the player is doing the "Flintrock Grassland" area before or after confronting Tristian at the "Abandoned Keep" area. If the players come late to the Flintrock Grassland, they find Nilak (and Dugath) already dead. We removed this dependency from the conditions to Nilak's (and Dugath's) survival to make Amiri's personal quest more consistent.
The "Help Amiri kill another mighty monster" objective could be missing after completion of the "Help Amiri kill Tuskgutter" objective in rare cases. Resolution: fixed.
The "Ancient formula" objective couldn't be completed after "Experiment on a wererat and report to Bokken" objective. Resolution: fixed.
The "City of Hollow Eyes" area will now only be available after receiving the "Find the missing Defaced Sisters" objective of the "Along the Cold Trail" quest.
In some resolutions of Jaethals last personal quest, she could unexpectedly disintegrate, which made it impossible to correctly resolve the Test of Loyalty for Jaethal and Tristian at the House of the Edge of Time. Resolution: the underlying issue has been solved and will not reproduce itself. However, unfortunately, the affected saves cannot be fixed.
A weapon slot in Amiri's interface could remain locked after finishing her companion quests. Resolution: fixed.
Even after Jaethal would come to life, she could regain some of her Undead feats with time. Resolution: fixed.
In some cases during Ekun's "Bury the Past" quest, some of the enemy giants would not join the fight on their own, which made it impossible to talk to Ekun afterwards. Resolution: fixed. Those players who have already been affected by this bug (they see Ekun standing on his knees and cannot talk to him) need to kill the giants located one screen to the right.
In some cases, the game incorrectly interpreted the player's decisions taken after fighting Hargulka and Tartuk at the "Troll Lair" area. Resolution: fixed.
It was possible to accidentally fail Valerie's romance before it even begins. Resolution: fixed.
Executing Edrist Hanvaki could block further playthrough if Auto Kingdom Management was turned on (this would stop game time from moving forward). Resolution: fixed.
Mim Wobblegander no longer gets stuck on her way to Talon Peak. Resolution: fixed. For players with saved games where she is already stuck, she will be waiting for them on the top of the mountain now.
Some players could permanently lose access to Nok-Nok if they have seen a certain statue before they were supposed to during his personal quest. Resolution: fixed.
From now on, the "Saving Grace" quest will start no matter what the status of the "Hour of Rage" quest is.
If Stefano Mosconi is alive during the "War of the River Kings" quest, he will now correctly appear in the Throne Room to "invite" the player to Pitax.
During the Season of Bloom, the peasants that form the angry mob in front of your castle could make mistakes about the fate of a certain Lamashtu's priestess (located at the "Secluded Lodge" area) and some bandits ("Bridge over the Gudrin River"). Resolution: fixed.
Areas
The dialogue option to ask Kharne Vereel about his shady dealings during the Rushlight tournament is now locked until the player finds out about them from other characters.
Skillchecks for the "Trial of Strength" and the "Trial by Pain" illustrated events could be triggered multiple times at the "Armag's Tomb" area. Resolution: fixed.
The "Wild Energies" debuff could get stuck on characters when leaving the basement of the "House At The Edge Of Time" area using the staircase to the second floor. Resolution: fixed. For affected saves where the party are still in the "House At The Edge Of Time" area, players have to visit the ruined basement part and leave it again to remove the debuff.
There could simultaneously exist two Tartuks at the "Ruined Warehouse" area in some cases. Resolution: fixed.
NPC banters disappeared too fast in Varnhold. Resolution: fixed.
Briar didn't disappear from the Inventory when players gave it to Nyrissa. Resolution: fixed.
The "Vordakai's Tomb" area couldn't be found before the opening the Gates to the Valley of the Dead. Resolution: fixed.
Lootable dead body was not visible at the "Wolf Lair" area. Resolution: fixed.
Provided conditions to Amiri's companion dialogue to keep it from becoming overburdened with the growing number of dialogue options.
The diplomacy checks in Darven's dialogue in the Capital were incorrect. Resolution: fixed.
Trolls and Kobolds didn't turn into dust after death at the "Troll Lair" area in the last chapter. Resolution: fixed.
Creatures were not reachable in the main hall at the "Troll Lair" area in the last chapter. Resolution: fixed.
Amiri could be paralyzed, wounded or fatigued at the start of her quest at the "Flintlock grasslands" area. Resolution: fixed.
A secret door opened mechanically but not visually in the library at the "House at the Edge of Time" area. Resolution: fixed.
Rikri Sharvan had the wrong portrait during dialogue. Resolution: fixed.
Changed the order of the traveling portals as they occur in the illustrated event in the final chapter. The four portals on top of the list will lead to areas where the Lantern King's curse is lifted.
Changed the text in the CG option in the dialogue with Hannis Drelev in Irovetti's Palace to better represent the CG alignment.
The Incorruptible Petal glaive used to be in the "Whiterose Abbey" area and is in the "Pitax Royal Palace" area now. Vice versa, the Ring of Chaos item is in the "Whiterose Abbey" area.
Added the tooltips for area pointers for houses in region villages.
Clarified a dialogue option available while discussing the search for Armag's Tomb with Linzi.
Characters could leave the map and get stuck at the final area. Resolution: fixed.
The robbed woman at the "Bridge of Gudrin River" area now points the player in the right direction if asked about where she was robbed.
Lowered some of the Diplomacy and Intimidation difficulty checks for Amiri at the "Flintrock Grasslands" area.

Invisible monsters could appear after loading the game during the battle with pirates in the Pitax Tavern. Resolution: fixed.
The arguing peasants at the capital in chapter 3 have now learned to pronounce their names properly.
Fixed a possible bug in Ivar's dialogue at the cliff. Affected players should be able to talk to Ivar once again and finish the dialogue correctly.
The camera was not controllable after introduction dialogues at the "Pine Patch" area. Resolution: fixed.
Inclement weather is no longer triggered in safe areas like the Capital Square. Characters in a safe area now ignore all slowing effects and always move at full speed.
Characters could get an incorrect amount of damage or the wrong disease during the "Kobold Trail" event. Resolution: fixed.
Healing spells weren't applied to the wounded party members during the first Rest at the "Oleg's Trading Post" area. Resolution: fixed.
There was no exit marker on the "Southern Barrens" area map. Resolution: fixed.
Portal to the "Everblooming Flower Cradle" area (the last chapter) could be used only one time. Resolution: fixed.
Athletic skill-check was applied only once during uphill climbs at the "Bridge over the Gudrin River" area. Resolution: fixed.
Improved pathing at the "Goblin Fort" area.
Loading the game from one dimension at the House at the Edge of Time to another could lead to different bugs. Resolution: fixed.
At the "Technic League Encampment" area, it was sometimes impossible to free one of the companions enslaved by the League. Resolution: fixed.
In various points in the game, i.e., at the "Old Sycamore" area, after certain player actions area transitions could disappear. Resolution: fixed.
After upgrading the capital to stone buildings, some of the rooms in houses surrounding the main square could become inaccessible. Resolution: fixed.
On lower difficulties, an encounter with Soul eaters in Vordakai's Tomb could get stuck if the PC died. Resolution: fixed.
Three magical tree stumps could suddenly start moving with the wind at the "Abandoned Hut" area. Resolution: nailed the stumps to the ground.
At the "Other World" area, summoned creatures could trigger the teleport seuqence when they entered the blue mist, trapping some players in that area. Resolution: fixed.
You can now only enter Tuskgutter's Lair if you have Amiri in the group.
In some cases, players could get stuck in the capital tavern during romance with Octavia. Resolution: fixed.
At the "Old Sycamore" area, the sleeping bandits' characteristics did not properly reflect the fact that they're sleeping. Resolution: fixed.
The big entryway in the middle of the "Troll Lair" area now takes the player to the second floor instead of outside.
In Chapter 7, Maegar Varn could die before his final dialog. Resolution: fixed.
In the north-west of the "Silverstep Lake Village" area, you can summon a wyvern. The way to summon it has been made more logical and consistent.
Kingdom
The Safe Refuge event didn't change stats for all of the results if resolved by a Regent. Resolution: fixed.
Added a CE option (in addition to the CG one) to spare the priestess of Lamashtu at the "Secluded Lodge" area.
Incorrect rotation of the scaffold of the University building. Resolution: fixed.
The "Flight from a God" event didn't change stats for all of the results if resolved by a Councilor. Resolution: fixed.
Answers that would cost BP or gold now contain a warning during kingdom stat rank-up events.
Artisan Varrask didn't bring his masterpiece even when all the conditions were met. Resolution: Fixed. Varrask will correctly bring the masterpiece. For players who have already met the conditions he will bring it on the second time he comes to throne room.
Players can see the general Kingdom stats in the settlement building interface now.
The Ancient curse events were not marked as critically important. Resolution: fixed.
The 5th rank-up event for the Community stat could get stuck. Resolution: fixed.
Items brought by kingdom artisans could come in an unidentified state. Resolution: instructed the artisans to speak slowly and use short words when explaining to the ruler what their creations do.
Kanerah could suddenly vanish during rank-up events when acting as a Treasurer. Resolution: gave her pills that help with STT (spontaneous tiefling teleportation).
It was impossible to finish the throne room event "A Mysterious Letter has Arrived at the Castle" (a letter from Linxia that comes during the "Deal With the Devil" quest). Resolution: fixed.
In rare cases, if the "Pitaxian crowd" event was started in early versions of the game, some of the previously implemented fixes didn't work. Resolution: fixed.
In rare cases, Dragn could start coming to the throne room endlessly instead of giving the masterpiece. Resolution: fixed.
The event connected to Jubilost's article could happen even after Jhod is not available anymore to present it. Resolution - fixed, the event will not trigger in this case.
Several events were incorrectly marked as opportunities. Resolution: fixed.
Tirval kept coming to talk even if the player decided not to help her. Resolution: fixed.
Kingdom alignment wouldn't change to reflect the player's current alignment during the "Renown Across Golarion" event. Resolution: fixed. From now on, the alignment will change as it should and the capital will reflect those changes.
Some of the Ancient Curse events happened too late. Resolution: these events were moved to an earlier date (warnings still show up 2 weeks in advance).
Kingdom - In the Ancient Curse quests, counters showing time remaining until the end of the Curse didn't show . Resolution: fixed.
Two region upgrades didn't count into the region upgrade counter. Resolution: Fixed.
Classes & Mechanics
Polar Midnight was incorrectly showing that it only affected enemies. Resolution: fixed.
Paralysis inflicted by arrows shot by Horned Hunter had neither a name nor descriptions. Resolution: fixed.
The Extra Arcane Pool feat did not show in the description by how much it actually increases the arcane pool. Resolution: fixed.
Heal did not remove Insanity. Resolution: fixed.
The Magus' Greater Spell Access ability had the wrong description. Resolution: fixed.
The dwarven trait Stability did not provide a bonus to CMD against Bull Rush attempts. Resolution: fixed.
Icy Prison and Mass Icy Prison spells can be extended by metamagic now.
The Might of the Gods bonus granted by the Strength Domain did not work. Resolution: fixed.
The Elemental Bloodline arcana abilities switched themselves off after each combat. Resolution: fixed.
The Mass Heal tooltip picture looked like it affected everyone in the area. Resolution: the illustration in the tooltip is fixed (the spell only effects party members).
Long duration area spells had incorrectly stated in the description that they only affect enemies. Resolution: fixed.
Some class abilities, for example, the Alchemist's Dispelling Bombs discovery, miscalculated their caster level for dispelling checks. Resolution: fixed.
Rune domain abilities could be used as a free action. Resolution: fixed.
The Barbarian class became fatigued after their Rage ended for two rounds for each round the barbarian spent raging. Resolution: fixed.
Phantasmal Putrefaction spell now works correctly.
In combat, characters with the Magus class had a buff without an icon appearing near their portraits. Resolution: fixed.
Some class abilities, for example, Bard's archetype ability Thunder Call, miscalculated their caster level for the purposes of penetrating spell resistance. Resolution: fixed.
The Greater Vital Strike feat used to require normal Vital Strike instead of Improved Vital Strike. Resolution: It now requires Improved Vital Strike.
For the Sword Saint Magus archetype, Weapon Mastery did not increase their critical multiplier as it should. Resolution: fixed.
Beast Shape II, III, IV and Elemental Body I, II, III, IV spells now work correctly with Alchemist's Infusion discovery.
Swordlord's Counterattack and Blight Druid's Plaguebearer could have been activated by allies (e.g. healing). Resolution: No longer activated by allies.
Feats like Arcane Armor Training, Allied Spellcaster, and Shielded Caster should have had a Not Recommended mark for characters that will find them useless. Resolution: Arcane Armor Training and Arcane Armor Mastery now show as Not Recommended for characters that cannot cast arcane spells, for characters that cannot wear armor or for characters that already have a feature that allows them to ignore arcane spell failure of certain types of armor. Shielded Caster and Allied Spellcaster are now correctly shown as not recommended for characters that cannot cast spells.
Undead were not mechanically affected by the paralysis condition regardless of what caused it, making them practically immune to spells like Chains of Light and some effects of the Undead Bloodline ability (that should have allowed a Sorcerer/Eldritch Scion to affect undead just as effectively as living creatures with spells like Hold Person). Resolution: fixed.
Cooking: Tristian's Personal Favorite bonus (for eating Shepherd's Pie) now works correctly.
Two-Handed fighters had Dexterity as the recommended stat during character creation instead of Strength. Resolution: fixed, Strength became the recommended stat.
One of the Divine Hunter's archetype abilities had no description. Resolution: fixed.
The Polar Midnight bonus spell of the Serpentine Bloodline had the wrong description. Resolution: fixed.
Equipping weapons in the inventory screen no longer affects initiative delay in the next battle.
Weapon Finesse mentioned that if you were wielding a shield then you would get a penalty to attack equal to your shield armor check penalty. Resolution: This part of the description was removed from weapon finesse because we did not implement it. We did not feel the need to penalize the people that were making characters without consideration for this.
Dreadful Carnage only worked with weapon attacks. Resolution: Now Dreadful Carnage works with spells as well. Pay attention please that it uses dazzling display and intimidates the enemies around the character and not around the target.
Good Hope area of effect was far larger than the size of the visual effect. Resolution: Good Hope now affects smaller area (15 ft radius).
Kinetic Knight archetype didn't get the bonuses from Skilled Kineticist wild talent. Resolution: fixed.
Kineticist Cold Blast damage for Dark Elementalist and Psychokineticist archetypes was calculated incorrectly, based on kineticist's Constitution. Resolution: fixed.
Tanglefoot bombs' entanglement effect could last too long. From now on, they can only entangle targets for up to 1 minute.
Buffs and debuffs applied by Tsanna during Chapter 7 should now display properly.
Buffs and debuffs applied by the Lantern King should now display properly.
Defender of the True World ability Beguiling Immunity did not work. Resolution: fixed.
Difficulty settings and fixes
The time limit to solve the main quest in the last chapter was a bit too strict. Resolution: the time limit was increased.
Decreased the difficulty of fighting the Wild Hunt: thier special abilities have been nerfed on Normal and lower difficulty levels.
Players can meet Anoriel Eight Eyes at the "House at the Edge of Time" area, where she lets the player hire mercenaries.
Players can change the party roster now when leaving the courtyard the at the "House at the Edge of Time" area.
Experience rewards for killing the Wild Hunt, bosses in Irovetti's Palace and in the "House at the Edge of Time" area has been drastically increased.
Powerful area effect abilities and spells cast by the enemy had their DCs lowered on lower difficulties.
Experience rewards for completing last stages of companion quests, quests in the last two chapters and the "War of the River Kings" quest has been drastically increased.
Avinash Jurrg was weaker than intended. Resolution: his stats now reflect his race more properly.
Items
The Hand of Damnation weapon had a mistake in the description: it stated a +1 enhancement bonus instead of +2. Resolution: fixed.
Wand of Vampiric Touch worked incorrectly - it did not store a charge as usual touch spells and did not work without a Use Magic Device check (even for classes that have it on their spell list). Resolution: fixed.
Weapon descriptions had no indication they are monk weapons or are compatible with Weapon Finesse feat. They do now.
Light weapons were not described as such in weapon descriptions. They are now.
The Necklace of Double Crosses was a notable item. Resolution: no longer notable.
The Beholder of Wind amulet had a typo. Resolution: fixed.
The Rigid Oak Staff gave an enhancement bonus to Constitution, instead of a morale bonus. Resolution: fixed.
Some items, for example, most magic shields and robes, were not marked in inventory as magic. Resolution: fixed.
Scrolls of Icy Prison, Icy Prison Mass, Foresight and Grease didn't exist. Resolution: mentioned scrolls have been added.
Clarified the description of the Greater Ring of Balance.
The Della Fiorni Crest had the wrong price. Resolution: fixed.
The Remnant had no flaming visual effect. Resolution: fixed.
The Remnant didn't deal its flaming and divine damage. Resolution: Now all damage applies correctly.
The Unstoppable Khanda had the wrong price. Resolution: fixed.
The +4 Full Plate from Avinash Jurrg had an incorrect name. Resolution: fixed.
The Ring of Law and the Lesser Ring of Balance had incorrect prices. Resolution: prices were adjusted for both items.
The Phylactery of Positive Channeling, the Lesser Phylactery of Positive Channeling, the Lesser Phylactery of Negative Channeling, the Phylactery of Negative Channeling had misleading descriptions.They work only with a Channel Negative/Positive Energy ability. Resolution: The item description has been changed.
The Bleed enchantment worked even after combat ends. Fixed: Now it is removed once combat ends, unless stated otherwise.
Singing Edge had an incorrect description in RUS and ENG and gave an additional +3 enhancement bonus instead of +2. Resolution: fixed.
The Eye of the Tornado crossbow didn't have a usable weapon type. Resolution: now it is heavy crossbow type.
The Polymorph Greater spell's visualization was fixed.
Medusa's "Petrifying Gaze" ability's DC was wrong. Resolution: fixed.
Leviathan's gift robe granted infinite Maximize Spell metamagic uses. Fixed: now it grants only 6 times per day as per description.
Satisfaction, Helmet of the Dusk, Sparkling Helmet, Forest Knight's Bracers and Bladed Plate could have been activated by allies (e.g. healing). Resolution: No longer activated by allies.
Wand of Dispel Magic was non-usable. Resolution: fixed.
The Rod of Flaming Vengeance displayed the name and description of the Rod of the Fearless. Resolution: fixed.
Artisan-produced rods allowed to cancel a rod's buff before the spell was fully cast and thus not to spend charges. Resolution: fixed.
The armor obtained from Avinash Jurrg had an error in its description. Resolution: fixed.
Some loot areas and vendors had non-usable weapons and shields. Resolution: fixed.
The Rage ability of Korgath's Shackled Fury had neither a name nor a description. Resolution: fixed.
The Soot-Blackened Brand, an item that is of interest to the Storyteller, was too hard to find: it was hidden in a locked gnome chest that would only appear at the "Ford across the Skunk River" area while the "Troll Trouble" quest was active. From now on, you can simply pick it up from a container in the same area.
Animal pelts could disappear when transferred into a chest. Resolution: fixed.
A few items that the Storyteller asked you to collect were missing from the game. Resolution: you can now find the Charred Screwdriver with the Technic League's Brand at the "Dappled Quagmire" area, and the Tree Crest Inkwell at the "Carnival Glade" area in the portal to the First World.
User Interface
You can now enable camera following. Just double-click a character's portrait or hit F to enable it, and disable it by manually controlling the camera (WASD, arrow keys or pressing on the mouse wheel). Camera-following is also automatically disabled on battle start.
From now on, you can always access an animal companion's info - just open its master's inventory or character sheet and look to the right. Useful when you cannot select your pet due to mind-affecting spells, for example.
In the class progression screen (seen on the Character sheet and during level-up), feats that allow selecting from different options (i.e., Weapon Focus, Spell Specialization and others) will now show the selected option.
From now on, the action bar automatically displays activated abilites - both those granted by feats and classes as well as by items.
The Storyteller now provides the total number of artifact shards needed to assemble an artifact.
Protective Aura had no icon. Resolution: fixed.
Changed the combat log message that stated the result of the Fortitude save check, when it was supposed to state the result of the Fortification armor chance instead.
The layout of Character Generation dialogues have been improved.
Added a tooltip to the slots for picking new spells on level-ups.
There were no tooltips for Weapon Proficiency. Resolution: fixed.
The following settings have been fixed or adjusted: Screen edge scrolling speed, Keyboard edge scrolling speed, Double-click delay, Tooltip delay.

Loading times have been significantly reduced.
A new setting: by enabling "Improved Kingdom Loading Times", you can now significantly decrease loading times in kingdom management screens at the cost of higher RAM and VRAM consumption.
Made sure save files do not accumulate unneeded info over the course of the game. This can make saving and loading marginally faster, especially in the later chapters.
Several improvements have been implemented to address "crash on startup" issues.

Patch 1.1.6 (27 December 2018)

How to Build a Kingdom quest could get stuck on the "Found a new village" objective in some cases. Resolution: fixed.
The conversation in the Throne Room that raises the Arcane stat to rank X wouldn't trigger if you had the Storyteller as your magister. Resolution: fixed.
Sometimes kingdom visitors would get stuck because the game wrongfully assumed the baron is having a romantic encounter (often because a shortcut mod had been used). Resolution: exiting the kingdom interface now returns you to the personal chambers in this case, so the romantic encounter can be finally resolved.
User Interfaces
In some cases, both Kalikke and Kanerah were available to add to the party roster even when only one of them should have been available. Resolution: fixed.
Conversely, sometimes both Kalikke and Kanerah could disappear from the party roster. Resolution: fixed as well.
There were issues controlling the Kinetic Knight archetype during combat. Resolution: fixed.
Classes & Mechanics
Barbarian spirits summoned by the Warpainted Skull of Duthica had the wrong faction, which might have lead to them attacking some NPCs. Resolution: fixed.
Misc
Fixed a misplaced parenthesis that turned all left-handed characters back into right-handed ones. Also, fixed sword scabbards having wrong offsets for left-handed characters.
When loading a game with a polymorphed character and polymorphing back, the character's model wouldn't actually change until an area transition. Resolution: fixed.
System
Fixed a crash-to-menu that could sometimes happen when entering an area from the Global Map while having an active animal companion.
Some item enchantment parameters (i.e., the DC of saving throws against the item's abilities) would not get saved when saving the game, leading to incorrect values after loading (it still could be fixed by re-equipping the item). Resolution: fixed, all item parameters are now saved.

Kanerah and Kalille didn't have epilogues if the game ended after the "House at the Edge of Time" area. Resolution: fixed.
Kingdom
Unique building "Vordakai's Tower" was less powerful, than a common Mage's Tower. Resolution: fixed, now Vordakai's tower provides bigger Arcane stat increase as well as the access to the Teleportation (same as Mage's Tower).
The dialogue preceding Population Rank Up VI could be skipped completely. Resolution: fixed.
User Interfaces
Tieflings portraits were available without unlocked DLC. Resolution: fixed.
Animal skins or pelts didn't show in the barter window after being selected for selling. Resolution: fixed.
Classes & Mechanics
Walls of the Sanctuary did not have charges and its ability was not limited to 20 rounds per day. Resolution: fixed.
Wild talent "Fire's Fury" for kineticist class now correctly works with fire-based blasts.
"Foxfire Infusion" now correctly gives the kineticist "Foxfire Infusion" ability.
Kineticist could not stand up after battle with accumulated burn. Resolution: fixed.
Weather debuffs was improved. Resolution: light rain should no longer cause partial concealment, and heavy rain should no longer slow characters down.
The list of magical properties on weapons was not updating properly when being enchanted by a paladin or by a magus. Resolution: fixed.
Some mechanical effects (like Web, Grease, Inspire Courage) could get stuck on characters in some cases. Resolution: fixed.
"Dark Elementalist" kineticist archetype could get more bonuses from Elemental Overflow than intended. Resolution: fixed.
"Kinetic Knight" archetype feature - "Kinetic Warrior" - correctly counts as Combat Expertise for combat feats now.
Psychokineticist could get all the abilities from Mental Overflow instead of the abilities for his current burn. Resolution: fixed. For effected characters, the issue will be fixed after the first rest.
Kineticist's "Elemental Overflow" abilities no longer disappear after death. Also, only abilities matching the current amount of burn are available.
"Knight's Resolve" ability of Kinetic Knight archetype now correctly removes all the applicable debuffs.
Items
Blade of the Merciful disappeared after use. Resolution: fixed.
Miscellaneous
Rest banters could get stuck for ~1 min in rare cases. Resolution: fixed. Just to remind, the rest banters can be skipped by pressing Spacebar.

Maestro Janush could be killed by spells like Phantasmal Killer during the the "Cruel Justice" quest resulting in failing to start a corresponding cut-scene and inability to leave the area. Resolution: fixed.
The player could get the armor instead of the bow as a reward for the Ekundayo's "Bury the Past" quest in some cases. Resolution: fixed. The reward remains the same for affected saves.
Areas
Dialogues where Kalikke and Kanerah replace each other could end abruptly if the player clicks the dialogue options too fast, resulting in issues with the "Sorrowflow" quest and Call Forth Kalikke\Kanerah ability. Resolution: fixed. For affected saves the quest will be treated as completed, allowing to exit the stuck locations.
The epilogues stopped abruptly if the player recruited Tartuk as a companion. Resolution: fixed.
Bartholomew could be missing from his house if visited without his whip after receiving his quest. Resolution: fixed.
Resting was not available in some cases at the "House at the Edge of Time" area. Resolution: fixed.
In rare cases, a dialogue could not be started after defeating Nyrissa at the "House at the Edge of Time" area. Resolution: additional fixes were implemented.
There were two copies of the same Storyteller's collection item at the "Vordakai Tomb" area. Resolution: the player can find the Fallen Warrior Flask and Fallen Warrior Flint in "Vordakai Tomb" now.

Sometimes, kingdom events that failed to start still triggered their effects. Resolution: fixed. This should fix issues with the kingdom being destroyed without any apparent reason.

Here is the next batch of fixes and improvements we've made after your comments. Of course, we shall carry on with this work even after the DLC is out. The next big step for us will be Patch 1.2, which should become available in the middle of the January. In the meantime we will keep reading your bug reports and monitoring your posts in order to resolve the most pressing issues in Hotfixes. The party can teleport between settlements if they have a special building - the Teleportation Circle.
Quests
Players could re-start the first test from "The Secrets of Suramgamin" quest after its successful completion, which blocked further quest progression. Resolution: fixed.
The dryad didn't spawn during the "Affairs of the Heart" quest in some cases. Resolution: fixed.
In rare cases, the "Judgment of the Gods" quest could get stuck at "Withstand the divine trial" stage. Resolution: fixed.
Some players could not progress in the "Deal with the Devil" quest after completing the "Defeat the hellknights" stage. Resolution: fixed.
The party could get stuck at the "Oleg's Trading Post" area if the "Trouble with Goblins" quest was failed. Resolution: fixed.
Areas
Killing Nilak fails the "Reforged Blade" quest from now on. We hope this will make Amiri's "Test of Loyalty" result more clear for the players who have experienced this quest resolution.
The different ways in which Tristian's "Saving Grace" quest could get resolved don't influence the result of the "Test of Loyalty" event any more (the status of the quest still matters, however). We hope this will make the conditions of Jaethal's and Tristian's survival more clear for the players.
From now on, if during Jubilost's "Door to Nowhere" quest the player chooses to grant immortality to a random gnome (Nyrd), she will appear in Irovetti's Palace regardless of whether the player killed her before or not. This will allow Jubilost to survive his trial in the "House at the Edge of Time" after being saved by Nyrd.
From now on, Harrim survives the "Test of Loyalty" event with any successful completion of the "The Unmaking" quest now. We hope this will make Harrim's "Test of Loyalty" result more clear for players.
Linzi's death could cause an unexpected "game over" in rare cases at the "House At The Edge Of Time" area. Resolution: fixed.
In some cases, players could meet two copies of Bartholomew at the "Wizard's Laboratory" area. Resolution: fixed.
An incorrect list of destination options for the portal at the "Camp at the Capital Gates" area could be displayed in some cases. Resolution: fixed.
Epilogues could work incorrectly if players experienced an issue with the "Problem with Taxes" kingdom event. Resolution: fixed.
First Mate Wellar didn't leave with the rest of the crew in some cases. Resolution: fixed.
In rare cases, a dialogue could not be started after defeating Nyrissa at the "House at the Edge of Time". Resolution: fixed.
The passage to Lantern King remained closed at the "Ravaged Capital — Castle Threshold" sub-area if the last splinter was delivered while talking to the storyteller at the "Ruined Warehouse" location. Resolution: fixed.
The Curse could still force all enemies to attack the party when entering the area during the last chapter. Resolution: another fix was implemented.
Players couldn't find the Briar at the "House at the Edge of Time" area. Resolution: fixed.
The Jabberwock battle scene could be triggered multiple times at the "Other World" area. Resolution: fixed.
Song Bird could be killed using area effect spells at the "Other World" area, which blocked further progression. Resolution: fixed. For affected save files: Song Bird will re-appear after rest using the the Old Gnome's campfire.
The Old Gnome dialogue about the party splitting after filling Everblooming Flower with poison blocked further progression. Resolution: fixed.
A dialogue with Nok-Nok finished incorrectly in some cases if players chose "I'd like to know more about you" option. Resolution: fixed.
Completing the "King's Return" quest didn't finish Nok-Nok's companion story correctly in some cases. Resolution: fixed.
Some story events didn't start correctly at the "House at the Edge of Time" area in rare cases. Resolution: fixed.
The cut-scene of quarrel between Octavia and Regongar didn't happen at the tavern in some cases, which blocked further progression of Regongar's romance. Resolution: fixed.
Each character in the party started a dialogue with barbarians moving besides them at the "Overgrown Cavern" area. Resolution: fixed.
Souleater didn't name Valerie correctly at the "Vordakai's Tomb" area. Resolution: fixed.
Kingdom
Inventory and Journal can be opened in kingdom management from now on.
Camera could focus on a black screen when flipping through the events description. Resolution: fixed.
Loading the game while in kingdom management interface could break kingdom management in rare cases. Resolution: fixed.
The kingdom event when Edrist Hanvaki left the Capital failing "The Lost Brother" quest wouldn't trigger if the Capital had been improved to City by that time. Resolution: fixed.
Sometimes kingdom events and projects could be shown as ignored even when players did not ignore them. Resolution: fixed, old "ignored" events should become active again.
Players couldn't skip time on the war table at the "Throne Room" with Auto Kingdom enabled in some cases. Resolution: fixed.
Special buffs to help with the development of secondary kingdom stats were added.
Players can cancel unfinished events and projects now. In this case the events are considered failed. As for the projects, they lose all progress and players get back 90% of the project's cost.
User Interfaces
Tooltip of the skill-check option in an illustrated event ("Book event") represents the companion with the highest corresponding skill now.
The Action Bar could temporarily disappear when on Pause in some cases. Resolution: fixed.
Camera scroll could break in rare cases. Resolution: fixed.
Tooltips are added for the transition points for the "House at the Edge of Time" area map.
Camp: Skip time didn't work correctly while resting at dungeons.Resolution: fixed.
A notification was added for cases when traveling the world map is prohibited due to a single companion carrying too much weight.

The "How to Build a Kingdom" quest got stuck on the "Reach rank 8 of any kingdom's stats" objective even when the rank of kingdom stat was already 8 or higher. Resolution: fixed.
Added information on where to find Jenna during the "Lost Child" quest to the Journal (she is waiting for the player at the Capital Tavern, as she always was).
Areas
The peasant rebellion at the Capital Square conflicted with the romance event at the Tavern. Resolution: fixed.
Nok-Nok could get stuck in the "Goblin Clearing" area. Resolution: fixed.
For Tristian and Jaethal, incorrect dialogue could be displayed after the "Test of Loyalty" event. Resolution: fixed.
From now on, companions involved in a romantic relationship with the player will gain twice as many affection points for dialogue interactions during the Twice-Born Warlord and the War of the River Kings chapters. This will give the players another chance to properly develop their romances before the game's finale.

The number of new projects shown in the kingdom UI could be incorrect. Resolution: fixed.
The event about Jubilost's article could trigger even after Jhod was not available to present it. Resolution: the event will not happen in this case.
Incorrect visualization for results of Pitax Influence events. Resolution: fixed.

Many tutorial illustrations have been updated.
Carry weight: there used to be no notification on party overload. Resolution: fixed.

Enhancing your weapon for +2 with Arcane Weapon Enhancement while Enduring Blade was on resulted in only a +1 bonus. Resolution: fixed.
Enabling more expensive Arcane Weapon Enhancements for Magus and Divine Weapon Enhancements for Paladin would not always disable the proper amount of previously used enhancements and did not properly recalculate the enhancement bonus left. Resolution: fixed.
Bonuses to attack and damage from Shield Master feat were not showing up on the character screen. Resolution: fixed.
Shield Master feat did not negate the penalty you suffer on your attack rolls with a shield when fighting with two weapons. Resolution: fixed.
The Lantern King's Curse restricted characters' caster level and didn't impact on outgoing healing. Resolution: fixed.
Balance adjustment: the Dаmage Reduction and Energy Resistance of enemies is halved on Normal difficulty and disabled on Story difficulty.
Miscellaneous
Some bow models could make the character model invisible in the Inventory. Resolution: fixed.

The party could get stuck at the "Technic League Hideout" area if they entered the location for the first time whilst having failed the "Cruel Justice" quest. Resolution: fixed (affected saves are also corrected).
In some cases, "The Seed of Sorrow" quest could get stuck after leaving the "Old Prison" area. Resolution: fixed. Players need to start saves prior to the Throne Room.
Jaethal couldn't be killed if players chose to attack her in the final dialogue during the "Reveal My Destiny" quest. Resolution: fixed.
Failing the "Burning Bridges" quest could lead to issues with other events in the Throne room in some cases. Resolution: fixed.
The "Talk to Shyka" objective couldn't be completed correctly in "The First Crown" quest at the "Castle of Knives" area if players didn't talk to Salim Ghadafar before. Resolution: the "Talk to Shyka" objective is not available until players talk to Salim Ghadafar.
The "Troll Trouble" quest could not be completed correctly if Hargulka and Tartuk were killed in the same moment. Resolution: fixed.
Ekun's animal companion could lose its name - received in the "Okbo" quest - and change size during the "Conduct the ritual" objective completion (Ekundayo's "Bury the Past" quest). Resolution: fixed (fix is available for saves that are not affected yet).
Ekundayo's "Bury the Past" quest was not considered failed if players refused to take part in the ritual. Resolution: fixed.
All companions could disappear if players loaded a save during the Ekundayo's "A Feast of Feasts" quest at the "Hunting Grounds" area. Resolution: fixed.
Tristian's the "Saving Grace" quest was available even if the "Hour of Rage" quest was completed prior to the "Betrayer's Flight" quest. Resolution: fixed. If players already get the "Saving Grace" quest, they will keep it.
The ''Read Kesten's note'' quest would not complete upon reading the corresponding note. Resolution: fixed.
The "A Bard's Calling" quest got stuck uncompleted after Annamede Belavarah's leaving the "Rushlight Fields" area if players didn't talk to her. Resolution: the quest is marked as failed in this case.

Areas

In rare cases, the Pitax Aftermath could finish incorrectly. Resolution: fixed. For players who have already encountered the problem, the event will be re-started in the Throne Room.
Players could not select to leap over the fence at Stag Lord's Fortress repeatedly the same way. Resolution: fixed.
No exit from the "Temple of the Elk" area. Resolution: the area exit marker is moved to a more convenient location.

There were no options to talk to Tsanna at the "Shrine of Lamashtu" area in the last chapter. Resolution: fixed.
Allowing Hargulka or Tartuk to keep their kingdom through the Chaotic dialogue option immediately removed the player from the dungeon, missing on possible treasure or resolving the Harrim's companion quest. Resolution: after striking an alliance with Hargulka or Tartuk, they now allow players to finish exploring the dungeon until they leave it on their own.

Kingdom

Using an ultra-wide monitor resulted in cropped UI in kingdom management. Resolution: fixed.

User Interfaces

Companion's portraits could become transparent after their death. Resolution: fixed.
Filters didn't work at loot boxes. Resolution: fixed.
Double click didn't function properly sometimes. Resolution: double click functionality was improved. A special setting (Settings > Controls) was added to control the speed of double click.
An attempt to level up a skill rank caused the modal dialogue to appear with no resulting actions while in the auto-levelup mode. Resolution: fixed.

Classes & Mechanics

Players with specific Operation System settings who played at the "Story mode" and "Normal" levels of difficulty could experience an automatic 10-time increase in monster damage after the release of 1.1. Resolution: fixed.
Medusa's Petrifying Gaze ability worked incorrectly out of combat. Resolution: fixed.
Buff from Cleric's Strength Domain's ability Strength Surge did not show near the portrait. Resolution: fixed.
Extra Performance and Lingering Performance had shown "Deadly Performance" in prerequisites while actually requiring Bardic Performance. Resolution: These feats properly show Bardic Performance as the prerequisite now.
Area effect buffs could get stuck for not active companions. Resolution: fixed.
Characters other than the player character could not use diamond dust to cast spells. Resolution: fixed.
Wild Hunt Scouts no longer drop their scimitars.
Reflex saving throw did not affect the divine damage part of the Flame Strike. Resolution: fixed.
Animal companions would remain petrified even after resting. Resolution: fixed.
Amiri had no visible UI debuff mark while Fatigued. Resolution: fixed.
Dragonkind II had no cooldown for the breath weapon ability. fixed.

Miscellaneous

Hovering over the Cursed Bombs ability when playing with the French localization could freeze the game. Resolution: fixed.
Moving between peaceful areas inside your capital no longer triggers autosaves.
Fixed typo in Renshala's dialogue during the dialogue with Eimar in Pitax.

We are happy to inform you that Version 1.1 is here and ready to be shared with everyone!

We are eternally grateful for your patience. The bugs and other technical issues you've encountered can not be tolerated, since they ruin immersion and spoil the fun of playing the game. We apologize for any frustration they could have caused you, and we'd like to once more reassure you of our commitment to fix all the remaining problems. We hope you feel the same way we do - we were inspired by true pillars of the CRPG genre, and we believe that with hard work and dedication, this game can become worthy of their lineage.

We would also like to express our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who took part in the Beta test for this version. Your feedback is truly invaluable to us! More then 60 unique issues were fixed thanks to your reports since the beginning of the Beta. And we've also out around 200 other unique suggestions and issues on our task list for the next patch (unfortunately, we can't fix everything in a glimpse, so we prioritize and address major issues first). We'd like to highlight that we carefully read through bug reports threads on Steam and GOG forums, as well as the official forum at owlcatgames.com and the fan-run Discord group, in order to record all the issues described there. We can't answer all the messages personally - sorry for that! - but, just to be clear, we ensure you we care about everything you post, and eventually we will address all reports.

To make bug reporting easier, we've decided to keep the internal bug report form in the release version. There won't be a "Bug Report" button as in Beta, so as not to clutter the interface, but on pressing F11 you will be able to send us your thoughts together with all the required information (screenshot, save file and logs collected automatically).

As soon as Version 1.1 goes live, we'll continue working on Release 1.2, which we expect to deliver around Christmas. Meanwhile, we will keep addressing newly-found critical issues in hotfixes and other updates. Stay tuned - there will be more news about upcoming updates pretty soon!

Players couldn't speak to Mim Wobblegander during the "Heal Mim" quest objective. Resolution: fixed.
The "Honor and Duty" quest couldn't be completed. Resolution: fixed.
The first objective of "The Door to Nowhere" quest couldn't be completed correctly in some cases. Resolution: fixed.
Players could skip the first meeting with Technic League but found the "Technic League Encampment" area in rare cases. Resolution: fixed.
It was unclear that players had to show the book to Jubilost to complete the quest objective. Resolution: objective description was improved.
Players could talk to Ditael several times to get several cursed swords. Resolution: fixed.
The "Green Stone" quest could be completed without an emerald. Resolution: fixed.
"Find a way to deal with the bandits", "Discover why monsters are attacking the kingdom" and "Find the propagandists" objectives couldn't be completed in the "War of the River Kings" quest. Resolution: fixed.
Willas Gunderson stayed in the Tavern after quest completion. Resolution: fixed.
"An Amusement for the Nobles" quest's failed resolution was unclear and players thought that the quest was completed successfully. Also, some quest NPCs stayed active after its completion. Resolution: fixed.
Jubilost's story wasn't updated after the "Door to Nowhere" quest. Resolution: fixed.
In certain conditions, players could get the Incomplete Lawbringer Armor twice in the "Lawbringer" quest. Resolution: fixed.
Diplomacy check DC was wrong in the dialog with wererats (the "Ancient Formula" quest). Resolution: fixed.
An NPC didn't appear for the "Earthbreaker" quest at the "Secluded Lodge" area if the "Witch Hunt" quest wasn't completed. Resolution: fixed. Though, the NPC won't be there during the "Witch Hunt" quest.
The dialog about rules in the "Price of curiosity" quest could be used to get infinite experience. Resolution: fixed.
In rare cases, Jubilost didn't speak about Inconsequent Debates. Resolution: fixed.
"Death to Queen Bdaah!" and "Death to Chief Sootscale!" objectives could remain unfinished after completion of the "Old Sycamore Caves" area. Resolution: if players chose the peaceful way to resolve the conflict, these quests will disappear from the Quest log (they will be failed).
Siding with Annamede in Pitax could cause all guards to attack the party. Resolution: fixed.
Additional reward for "The Lost Brother" quest is added.
The description for the objective was clarified in the first of Valerie's companion quests.
The alignment shift was changed in one of the dialogues in the "Deal with the Devil" quest.
Some alignment shifts were changed in the resolution of Valerie's final companion quest.
Tiressia could reward the player twice for killing the Scythe Tree. Resolution: fixed.
The correct speaker was assigned for a certain line in a dialogue in Jaethal's quest.
The quest description was improved for the case when Octavia and Regongar didn't join the party.
The quest text was clarified for one of the objectives in the "Missing Child" quest.
The location of the Poachers' Hideout was clarified in Sharel's quest.
A Lawful Good justification was added to attack Darven in the "Deal with the Devil" quest.

If players decided to perform a ritual after completing Ekandeyo's "Bury the Past" quest they didn't receive set of "Wayfarer's Comfort” armor. Resolution: fixed. For players who have already completed this quest and performed the ritual the armor should be in the inventory.
Jubilost didn't distinguish the player's gender correctly in his “Trial of Strength” dialogue. Resolution: fixed.
The quest about Octavia and Regongar meeting with the Technic League spy in a tavern did not work. Resolution: fixed. You need to re-enter the tavern.
After saving Octavia and Regongar at the "House At The Edge Of Time" area and adding them to the party roster, Octavia became invisible and didn’t move making it impossible to switch areas and breaking the quest. Resolution: fixed.
"Arrest Morhalan" objective has more time to complete it now.
The "Mirror Memories" quest could't be completed under certain circumstances. Resolution: fixed.
The "Saving Grace" Tristian's quest properly display as failed in the Journal now if the quest’s result leaves Tristian devastated and he doesn't accept Sarenrae's forgiveness.
In some situations, player didn’t receive third Nok-Nok companion quest. Resolution: Fixed
Annamede now spawns properly in the Academy area of Pitax during the “War of the River Kings” quest. She appears in the area after players talk to Atalia who (most likely) refuses to help against King Irovetti. Annamede starts a dialogue proposing an alliance. We've also added several fixes to Annamede's dialogue.
In rare cases, a premature ending of the game occurs after the "Test of Loyalty" event with Tristian and Jaethal. Resolution: fixed.
the "A Bloody Craft" quest could not be completed in rare cases. Resolution: fixed
In rare cases, the guard near Shariel could stay in the village after the first stage of the artisan's quest. Resolution: fixed.
In the “Along the Cold Trail” and “The Lost Relic” quests, a part of the addendums didn’t add up. Resolution: fixed.
Nok-Nok's companion quest could not start in some cases. Resolution: fixed.
The “Guiding Beacon” quest could not be completed if the player found whip without Octavia or Regongar in the group, and Bartholomew was already dead. Resolution: fixed.
“The Path of the Dreams” quest couldn't be completed if Tristian died in the Abandoned Keep. Resolution: fixed.

Areas

Tartuk could appear at the "Skunk river ford" area after the completion of the "Troll Trouble" quest if players hadn't met gnome expedition before. Resolution: fixed.
The bonuses party got from the allies were added at the "Ravaged Capital — Central Passage" area.
The magical fog didn't disappear at the "Technic League Encampment" area. Resolution: fixed.
Gwart's name didn't appear in the dialogue at the "Armag's Tomb" area. Resolution: fixed.
Creatures were roaming incorrectly at the "Barbarian Cairn" area. Resolution: fixed.
The party could walk through the dwarven statue at the "Abandoned Keep" area. Resolution: fixed.
Villagers were reacting to animal companions and summoned units at the Capital. Resolution: fixed.
Radius of roll action icons was increased at the "Old Sycamore Outdoor" area.
Players weren't able to set up camp at the "Kellid Barbarian Camp" area. Resolution: the party can stay overnight with the help of a specific Merchant's dialogue option.
Never-ending answer in one of the book events was fixed.
Mim Wobblegander was still standing in the village at "Silverstep" area during her quest. Resolution: fixed.

The main character could get stuck in a sitting pose while at "Capital Inn" area in some cases. Resolution: fixed.
Players didn't understand how Divine services work. Resolution: NPCs who offer cleric services have a dialogue option now clarifying how it works.
Experience for defeating Ilthuliak was too low. Resolution: experience is 4 times higher now.
Party could get stuck in permanent combat mode if they entered the "Abandoned Keep" area form the "Verdant Chamber" after completing "Varnhold Vanished" quest but before starting "Betrayer's Flight" quest. Resolution: fixed.
The party couldn't rest for free in Varnhold or Pitax after conquering them. Resolution: fixed.
Encounter has the proper amount of Technic League Maguses at the "Technic League Encampment" area now.
Companions kept in the cages didn't have correct barks at the "Old Sycamore Caves" area. Resolution: fixed.
At the "Inconsequent Debates" event, the Host stated that the main character loves no one even if the character had an active romance. Resolution: fixed.
Players need to make successful perception check to find the "Middle of Nowhere" area now.
Some players had issues with the final story dialogue at "Old Sycamore Caves" area. Nothing happened if "Attack former allies" option was chosen when kobold chief was already dead. Resolution: fixed. Those who chose this option can return to the area and defeat mites.
The battle with Kalannah couldn't be finished in rare cases. Resolution: some fixes were implemented to prevent the issue.
The party could pass through some of the closed doors at the "House At The Edge Of Time" area. Resolution: fixed.
Greater Werewolf was incorrectly named as Greater Weretiger at the "Old Mesa" area. Resolution: fixed.

Tessie the Quill could disappear after the Capital Square upgrade. Resolution: fixed. Players need to re-enter the main square for the character to appear.
Group portraits covered exit marker at the "Overgrown Cavern" area. Resolution: the camera's movement boundary has been extended.
In some cases, Ilora Nuski could appear in Pitax after her death. Resolution: fixed.
Some of the scripted resurrections (e.g. at the "House At The Edge Of Time" area) did not work properly in some cases. Resolution: fixed.
Bokken is alive (we hope).
Curse in chapter 7 aggroed all enemy creatures upon entering the area. Resolution: fixed.
Vendor Issili had too few goods in chapter 7. Resolution: fixed.
Book "The Complete Collection of Useless Writings" did not appear in Issili's vendor list even if all requirements were met. Resolution: fixed.
Atalia Gitaren could raise from the dead and came to the Throne Room in some cases. Resolution: fixed.
In some cases, dead Stefano Mosconi could come to the Throne Room after conquest of Pitax. Resolution: fixed.
Some of the options to end the dialogue with Valerie at the Capital Inn did not fully complete the event and led to its recurrence. Resolution: fixed.
After the Ekundayo’s "A Feast of Feasts" quest the player was moved to the Capital but the player's figure remained at the location "Hunting Grounds" on the Global Map. Therefore it was impossible to skip days in the Throne Room and start projects. Resolution: fixed. the player’s figure moves to the Capital correctly now.

Kingdom

A new "Effortless" kingdom difficulty was added. It fits between "Auto" and "Easy" and is meant for those players who wish to participate in kingdom management, but don't want to pay much attention to kingdom development.
Kingdom project navigation has been improved - all projects have been divided into subcategories.
Kingdom events that happen after 20th day of the month could be resolved until the end of the next month. Known issue - This is not shown in the event card properly, and will be addressed in the upcoming hotfix.
Going into negative BP will not increase unrest until the next day now, giving time to repay the debt before that happens.
The "Windmill" building didn't have a unique model. Resolution: fixed.
"Sunny Glade" kingdom recourse was unreachable on the Global Map. Resolution: fixed.
"The Bog Mischief" kingdom event has a proper "success" description now.
2 slots for buildings were unlocked, that should be available at the Town level in the Capital instead of City one.
Bartholomew stopped working as a vendor after moving to the capital. Resolution: fixed.
The "Rebuild the Temple of the Elk" and "Pillage the Temple of the Elk" projects are correctly removed now as soon as one of them is completed.
Solved kingdom event cards displayed total accumulated stat changes by this event, which was sometimes confusing. Resolution: they display only the results of the resolution itself.
Smithy and TownHall buildings didn't have correct models. Resolution: fixed.
Projects for the Dwarven Keep Restoration in Dire Narlmarches and South Narlmarches are given as soon as respected region is claimed now. This projects allow region upgrades based on restored keeps.
Building upgrades deducted the cost of the base building from the treasury incorrectly. Resolution: fixed, upgrades' cost matches their description now.
Training projects for Companions now appear only for companions below 12 and 14 level after chapters 5 and 6 respectively. Those projects now level up companions to 12th and 14th level respectively. If such projects were being developed during the update, they are cancelled and their costs are fully reimbursed.
Kingdom was still destroyed if the boss of the chapter was killed on the same day it would destroy the kingdom. Resolution - fixed. The event that led to the destruction of the kingdom is removed.
"Safe Refuge" event was incorrectly marked as Problem. Resolution: fixed.
Kassil Aldori could disappear from the Throe Room if Kesten Garess died causing issues with some kingdom events. Resolution: fixed.
Printing House couldn’t be constructed after players completed the first Linzi companiom quest. Resolution: fixed.
Automated Kingdom could stop working because it considered a non-existing meeting to be part of the Sharel’s Project. Resolution: fixed, also automated kingdom will now complete this project faster.
"Silent Death" event had DC of 0. Resolution: fixed.
"Munguk's Drunken Rage" event was too bothersome. Resolution: fixed. The event now completes even on failure and does not repeat itself.
Finishing the “Cult Sacrifice” or the “Portal Beasts” events by ignoring them led to missing the rank up project. Resolution: fixed.
If player selected certain answer during the dialogue for 9th rank of culture, he could miss rank up project. Resolution: fixed.

Classes & Mechanics

Guidance Spell granted Base Attack Bonus. Resolution: Guidance Spell grants Additional Attack Bonus instead of Base Attack Bonus now.
Freedom of Movement spell worked incorrectly. Resolution: fixed.
War Domain "Battle Rage" ability wasn't shown in buffs on the character, despite working properly. Resolution: fixed.
Some abilities granted by Domains didn't work correctly for Druids. Resolution: fixed.
Barbarians were losing their speed bonus for non-heavy armor even if the full plate they were wearing were mithral. Resolution: fixed.
Some descriptions were fixed for Arcane Trickster.
War Domain 8th level Bonus Combat Feat ability lacked description and name. Resolution: fixed.
Some spells, like Molten Orb, had descriptions that they should target a point, despite the fact that they must specifically target a creature (as they deal additional damage to a target creature). Resolution: fixed.
The description for Power Word Blind spell was improved.
Effects that turn a character into a dragonlike creature give them blindsense 60 now instead of blindsight 30.
The whole party slowed down out of combat if one of the characters' speed was less than 30ft. Resolution: only slowed down characters will move slower than 30ft.
Auto cast didn't work with Charge ability. Resolution: fixed.
Some feats granted without fulfilling all requirements (such as, Ranger's "Combat Style Feat") were inactive. Resolution: fixed.
Divine Power didn't give bonuses to attack rolls. Resolution: fixed.
Attacks with Masterwork weapons were bypassing DR/Magic as if they were magical. Resolution: fixed.
Non-magical weapons temporarily enhanced by Magus or by a Paladin were not bypassing DR/Magic. Resolution: fixed.
Javelin and Dart weapons had no proficiency specified in their tooltip. Resolution: tooltip shows correctly that they are simple weapon now.
Trident was marked as a simple weapon in tooltip, while being a Martial weapon. Resolution: tooltip shows correctly that it is a martial weapon now.
No description for the save from the Wild Gaze ability. Resolution: fixed.
Creeping Doom spell worked incorrectly. Resolution: fixed.
Clay golems are Mud golems now.
Alchemist can not use her bomb and mutagen abilities while under the effects of a polymorph effect any more.
The Resonating Word spell works correctly now.
Animal creatures summoned via Summon Monster spell have the fiendish or celestial template depending on caster alignment now.
The Lesser Restoration spell does not remove Fatigued condition any longer if target is Exhausted.
New Grease spell is added. Wizards, Maguses and Bards can learn it.
Serpentine Bloodline Sorcerer's Serpent's Fang ability gives additional bite attack instead of replacing empty hand weapon now.
The Blind Fightning feat also gives immunity to gaze attacks now.

Monk could use Flurry of Blows with any weapon as long as the character was without armor or shield. Resolution: fixed.

Descriptions for Bard and Rogue (also, Cleric and Inquisitor) shared abilities were improved.
Magus's Ghost Touch weapon enchantment had a wrong description. Resolution: fixed.
Spell Specialization did not affect spells with variant casting (Dragon Breath 4th level spell, for example). Resolution: fixed.
Sorcerer bloodlines previously did not show that many of them give wings at level 15. Resolution: wings are now properly shown on class progression screen.
Calming Touch ability of Community domain were not used to heal the party on rest. Resolution: fixed.
Ward Against Death ability of Repose Domain did not protect against negative levels. Resolution: fixed.
Sorcerers and Eldritch Scions could take Dragon Disciple prestige class with any bloodline, instead of being limited to draconic bloodlines. This created strange interactions with its "Blood of Dragons" ability of that prestige class. Resolution: Only Sorcerers and Eldritch Scions with draconic bloodline now can take levels in Dragon Disciple. Characters that had already taken a level in Dragon Disciple can continue taking levels in it.
Alchemist's Breath Weapon Bomb did damage to friendly targets even if the alchemist had Precise Bomb discovery. Resolution: fixed.
Dwarven racial trait Hardy was giving a +3 bonus to saving throws instead of +2. Resolution: fixed, the bonus is +2 now.
Greater Restoration did not remove Death Door condition. Resolution: fixed.
Clerics had a Greater Domain Power in their progression screen at level 8. This feature did nothing and was there to signify when cleric gets his second powers of domains. It was only confusing people, since some domains receive features on other levels and all domains show their feature in the progression at the correct level now. Resolution: feature was removed from progression screen.
Eldritch Scoundrel did not have Knowledge (Arcana) as a class skill. Resolution: fixed.
Alchemist's Choking Bomb was applying Nauseated condition even if the saving throw against initial effect was successful. Resolution: fixed.
Guarded Hearth ability of Community domain did not grant any bonuses. Resolution: fixed.
Duelist Parry didn't work. Resolution: fixed.
Animal Domain didn't give Lore (Nature) as a class skill for clerics. Resolution: fixed.
The Inquisitor gains Exploit Weakness ability at 14th level now.
New 7th–level cleric spell Resurrection was added.
Rogue's Master Strike ability save DC is now Dexterity based. For characters who already have this ability you have to turn it off and on again to apply this change.
Attacks of Nereids and Spit Venom spells projectiles used to be acid green. Resolution: their color was changed to poison purple.
Litany of Eloquence now requires a saving throw.
Water Elemental Bloodline Sorcerer Arcana is now working correctly.
Water Elemental Bloodline Sorcerer now gains Scorching Ray (Cold) spell on 5th level instead of Scorching Ray (Electricity) spell.
Water Elemental Bloodline Sorcerer Elemental Movement ability now gives immunity to combat maneuvers instead of +30 feet bonus to your base speed.
Earth Elemental Bloodline Sorcerer Elemental Blast ability now can be used three times per day.
Alertness, Deceitful, Deft Hands, Persuasive and Stealthy feats applied wrong values to skill bonus points. Resolution: all feats apply correct values now.
Incorporeal creatures got full damage from magical weapon. Resolution: they get half damage.
Experience distribution for the skillcheks was fixed.
Inspiring Recovery mechanics were triggered two times instead of one. Resolution: fixed.
Enhanced Attacks ability of an animal companion gave only +1 bonus to attack, regardless of its ranks. Resolution: fixed.
Animal companion's feats could be switched off in some cases. Resolution: fixed.
Archon's Aura did not work. Resolution: fixed.
Transformation spell works correctly with weapon proficiencies now.
Some wizard schools, particularly Divination and Evocation, lacked spells at some levels, which is troublesome for wizards specialized in said schools. Resolution: Evocation now has two new spells Icy Prison and Mass Icy Prison. Divination now has Foresight. These spells were added not only for wizards, but also to other classes that should have access to them according to Pathfinder rules. We are aware that divination still lacks spells at certain levels and we plan to implement those spells in later patches.
Duration of paralysis casted by Farnirras was reduced to 1 hour.
Communal Mind Blank lasted 4 rounds instead of 4 hours. Resolution: fixed.
Estoc, Tongi and Rapier were counted as light weapons. This reduced the damage these weapons did with Power Attack and made characters unable to hold them with two hands. Resolution: they are no longer counted as light weapons, but Estoc and Rapier are still affected by Weapon Finesse and similar abilities in exactly the same way. Only characters who have a rapier, tongi or an estoc as an offhand weapon will suffer any penalties.
Rangers did not get Endurance feat at 3rd level. Resolution: fixed. Affected Rangers of 3rd level and higher will receive this feat automatically.
Alchemists, that were using Gear's Rule item, received one more standard bomb ability icon in their Abilities panel after every load. Resolution: fixed. Only one standard bomb icon should remain for the affected saves.
Several teamwork feats (Allied Spellcaster, Back to Back, Coordinated Maneuvers, Shielded Caster and Tandem Trip) weren’t shared by feat-sharing abilities of Monster Tactician, Sacred Huntmaster, and Tactical Leader. Resolution: fixed.
The "Accomplished Sneak Attacker" feat could be taken several times resulting in the wrong bonus to sneak attack damage dice. Resolution: fixed.
Ecclesitheurge was unable to memorize non-first level spells from his primary domain in their non-domain slots. Resolution: fixed.

Difficulty settings and fixes

We have a mechanic that limits the penalties to attack rolls on Story Mode. Due to a bug, that mechanic also reduced the penalty applied to iterative attacks that characters get from high Base Attack Bonus, making iterative attacks more effective than they should have been. Resolution: Fixed.
Random encounters from the Chapter 4 could be triggered at the left edge of Chapter 1 region. Resolution: fixed.
Random encounters near north of Shrike River, in the Outskirts and in Northern Narlmarches were sometimes too strong for 1st chapter. Resolution: random encounters in those regions were adjusted.
Wild Hunt Scouts had Outflank, Seize the Moment and Precise Strike, making them more deadly than we intended when they focus one target. Resolution: those feats were replaced with others.
Blindness from Wild Hunt Scouts was extremely annoying, requiring a lot of scrolls or spells after each combat. Resolution: blindness from a Wild Hunt Scout attacks with a crystal now lasts until the end of combat.
Wild Hunt Monarch casted Greater Dispel Magic as an area effect. Resolution: it is now single-target effect, but can remove all buffs from the target instead of one.

Items

Not enough Javelins, Darts and Slings. Resolution: Oleg now sells Masterwork Darts, Masterwork Flails, Masterwork Heavy Flails, Masterwork Javelins, Masterwork Slings, Masterwork Starknives, Masterwork Tridents, and Masterwork Bardiches.
Half-Plate of Hatred had the price of zero. Resolution: fixed.
Robe of Arcane Annihilation provided wrong bonuses to attack. Resolution: fixed.
A typo is amended in the English version of Headband of Vast Intelligence +6 description: it stated a +4 bonus, while in fact it gives a +6 bonus.
Ring of Evasion's description was fixed.
Wild Hunt scimitar didn't have a name. Resolution: fixed.
Blackemoor's Grimoire item summoned incorrect monsters. Resolution: fixed.
Mourning item had the wrong price (75 g). Resolution: price was increased.
Ring of Circumstances was giving +1 luck bonus to saving throws instead of its actual mechanics. Resolution: fixed.
Blessed Signet had Caster Level 1 for Blessing Spell. Resolution: it has Caster Level 3 as per description now.
Gnome Hooked Hammer weighed 10lbd. Resolution: it weighs 6 lbs instead of 10 lbs now.
Dwarven Urgrosh had wrong damage assigned to its axe-head and spear-point ends. Resolution: damage and attack types were changed to align with the visuals of the attack.
The Mallot of Woe was incorrectly wielded. Resolution: it is properly wielded now.
Lesser Ring of Ultimate Protection and Greater Ring of Ultimate Protection had wrong descriptors. Resolution: Items have Resistance descriptor for SavingThrows bonuses now.
Trailbleazer's helm didn't grant correct racial AC and bonuses to Saving throws. Resolution: Trailbleazer's helm grants +3 insight bonus to saving throws only against Gians and Goblinoids and grants +3 AC against Goblinoids as per description.
Ring of Enhanced Summons had alignment restriction. Resolution: the item no longer has Neutral alignment restriction.
Vicious weapon harms user when using Lay on Hands. Resolution: Vicious enchantment no longer damages the players if they use anything else but vicious weapon.
No Potions of Inflict Wound were available from Vendors. Resolution: Potion Of Inflict Light Wounds, Potion Of Inflict Moderate Wounds and Potion Of Inflict Serious Wounds were added to Vendors that have Potions of Cure Light/Moderate/Serious Wounds.
Tiger's Stripes didn't have Enhancement. Resolution: it has +5 Enhancement now.
Arrowguard Buckler granted +4 AC. Resolution: it grants +5AC instead of +4AC as per description.
Enchantments from Elemental Punisher, Arcane Enforcer, Authority, Overthrow, Blinding Light, Venom, Tyrant, Ruin, Spinebreaker, Chaos Shard, Grim Finale should work only with the weapon wielded now.
Highwayman's Argument should correctly deal damage against frightened and shaken targets now.
Blade of the Merciful correctly deals damage to non good targets now.
RoyalGift was too cheap. Resolution: its price is changed from 10000 to 64000.
Vicious weapons dealt multiplied damage on critical hits. Resolution: fixed.
Satisfaction Rapier didn't deal silver damage. Resolution: it deals silver damage as per description (mithral) now.
Black Star Starknife casted three spells on crit. Resolution: it casts one of three spells on a critical hit now.
The Narrow Path applied Negative levels on target. Resolution: it applies Negative level on a player as per description now.
Chaos Hammer enchantment could work with other weapons and its buff duration was wrong. Resolution: it only works with this weapon and the Touch of Chaos buff that is applied on target is active only for one round as per description.
Oils of Enhancement II worked on a "per round" basis. Resolution: it works on a "per minute" basis as per description now.
Ring of Reckless Bravery had incorrect descriptors. Resolution: it has correct descriptors now.
Forest Knight's Bracers, Cloak of Sold Souls Trailblazer's Helm and Ring of Reckless Courage stayed at Notable type after assembly. Fixed: the items were moved to appropriate inventory category type.
Crusader's Mithral Full Plate had icon with Gloves. Resolution: fixed.
Irlene had a rod without any description. Resolution: we reworked artisan's rods - they work as metamagic rods with some additional benefits now .
Leviathan's gift robe granted infinite Maximize Spell Metamagic. Resolution: it grants only 6 uses per day as per description.
The wrong price for +2 Unholy Estoc. Resolution: fixed.
Scroll Of Create Undead Living Armor casted the wrong spell. Resolution: fixed
Mallet of Woe had the wrong model and icon. Resolution: fixed.
Gyronna's Amulet had Mirror Image issue. Fixed: Mirror Image buff is applied on combat start and ends on combat finish now.
Missing archeology parts were added: Cypress Queen's Flower (the "Swamp Witch's Hut" area), Shard of Knight's Bracers (the "Troll Wilderness" area), Fallen Warrior's Flint (the " Vordakai's Tomb (1 level)" area), Fallen Warrior's Flask (the " Vordakai's Tomb (2 level)" area).
There wasn’t enough Freedom Of Movement scrolls. Resolution: 99 scrolls were added to Issili in chapters 6 and 7.

User Interface

From now on, players can Inspect creatures and characters to find out more about their strengths and weaknesses in combat. This is done by clicking on a new button in the HUD Menu. Once activated, a skill check is made if players have never met this type of unit before. The result of the skill check and the info revealed about the unit can be found in the Combat Log. A special tooltip with available information shows up in the upper right corner of screen when hovering with the mouse cursor on the unit or the Combat Log record.
An option to control the size of the fonts in the dialogues and descriptions was added.
Camping could result in a frozen black screen if the "Begin Resting" button was pushed really fast. Resolution: fixed.
The character's stats numbers were not updated if scrolls were used from the inventory. Resolution: fixed.
Some names were hardly visible in the dialogues. Resolution: fixed.
Players can skip time without resting now.
Players can control the time for rest after the hunting now.
Notification about minimum rest time to restore abilities was added.
Timeline icon visualization was improved in the Rest interface.
Rest until full recover was improved.
Indoor (dungeon) maps could be too dark and uncomfortable to recognize details. Resolution: fixed.
Missing descriptions for high-level cooking recipes and their buffs were added.
"Use rations" option was set to ON automatically during rest in dungeons. Resolution: no options are changed automatically. Players may change "Use rations" option at the main screen of the Rest interface.
"Point of interest" mark was too big on the Map. Resolution: the mark is changed.
The usability of picking up a character voice during the character creation was improved.
NPC Armag's name and portrait was not represented in his final dialogue. Resolution: fixed.
Some usable items didn't have corresponding icons while players chose target. Resolution: fixed.

The meeting scene with Nok-Nok didn't have voice-overs. Resolution: fixed.
Lantern King's voice lacked suitable audio effects when he transformed into his original form. Resolution: fixed.
Critters sounds were too annoying. Resolution: now critters play sounds with 50% chance.
Music didn't play in the Barony introduction scene. Resolution: fixed.
Small mastodon's footsteps were too loud. Resolution: fixed.

The dialogue with Tristian didn't work correctly at the Capital after the "Betrayer's Flight" quest. Resolution: fixed.
The special event which started the second Tristian's quest "Saving Grace" could not be triggered on the Global Map. Resolution: fixed.
"An Amusement for the Nobles" quest couldn't be completed correctly if players chose Evil or Chaotic options in the dialogue with Jamel Visser. Resolution: fixed.

Areas

Kassil Aldori and Shandra Mervey could disappear if Neutral option (alliance with both Jamandi Aldori and Natala Surtova) was selectged during the "Hour of Rage" quest. They also could disappear in some cases after the Capital was upgraded to the "stone" state. Resolution: fixed.
The final dialogue with the Stag Lord could not be started if the main character was too far away from the place the Stag Lord died at at the "Stag Lord's Fort" area. Resolution: fixed.
The cut-scene where Linzi introduced her book about Pitax Academy could overlap with the cut-scene of Nyrissa's arrival to the Throne room. Resolution: fixed.
The romance with Regongar could get stuck in some cases and players couldn't leave the Capital Square or the Capital Tavern. Resolution: fixed.
In some cases the party could exit to the Global Map while still being in combat mode. Resolution: fixed.
Story events teleporting the main character from the Throne Room could break subsequent cutscenes which led to the game locking up at a later point in some cases. Resolution: fixed.

Kingdom

Project to increase Relations rank to 8th didn't appear on the Triumph resolution of "The Wrath of Sevenarches" event. Resolution: fixed. Project is available for the players who missed it.
Choosing one of the options in the dialog leading to 9th rank of Arcane led to the broken dialog for 10th rank. Resolution: fixed, players who experienced the broken dialog will be able to replay it.
Upgraded buildings didn't provide the stats they should. Resolution: fixed.
Special buildings like the "Nethys' Library" weren't considered as corresponding basic building in the building requirements. Resolution: fixed.

Classes & Mechanics

Dazzling Display, Dreadful Carnage and Cornugon Smash did not apply effects from the Thug rogue ability Frightening. Resolution: fixed.
A companion dialogue could be initiated with the party members under certain control conditions such as "Prismatic Spray". Resolution: fixed.
Madness Domain abilities were multiplied after loading a save. Resolution: fixed.
Improved Unarmed Strike ability disappeared after party participated at the "Drunken Melee" event at the "Rushlight Fields" area. Resolution: fixed.
Cleave, Vital Strikes and other similar abilities still required to go into melee range with the target, even when the wielder was using a reach weapon. Resolution: fixed.
Buffs could stay on the characters forever in some cases. Resolution: fixed.

Update Hotfix 1.0.15 (01 November 2018)

Dear pathfinders,

While working on the Release 1.1 version we continue to pay close attention to the issues you keep posting to us (we can't miss the opportunity to say one more time how much we appreciate your help!). As we promised, in this hotfix we are addressing the most critical issues we have solution for by now. It's highly likely that we will have one or two more hotfixes before 1.1 version is ready to go live. The 1.1 version is scheduled for release between November 12th and 16th. We plan to have it available in Beta branch on the next week (we will soon post the detailed instructions on how to play the Release 1.1 Beta).

Quests

One of the arguments to convince Jaethal not to sacrifice her daughter during the "Reveal My Destiny" quest was missing if the player chose to "destroy Urgathoa ritual" while talking with Taneka during Jaethal's "Chase My Shadow" quest. Resolution: fixed. If this argument is the decisive one for those players who tried to convince Jaethal, failed and then chose "attack Jaethal" instead, the quest result will be changed. Jaethal will appear at the critical point at the House at the Edge of Times area and act as if she was convinced to let go of her evil ways.
Tristian could be missing at the "Abandoned Keep" area in some cases which made it impossible to complete the "Betrayer's Flight" quest. Resolution: fixed.
The "Blood Calling" quest did not update in some cases if dialogue with Gwart was interrupted incorrectly at the "Flintrock Grassland" area. Resolution: fixed.
The "Hour of Rage" quest did not finish after completing the "Flintrock Grassland" area in some rare cases. Resolution: fixed

Areas

Players couldn't interact with Ivar at the "Littletown" area after the battle. Resolution: fixed.
The direct transition by portals between areas didn't work in the last chapter (players could only move through the "Camp at the Capital Gates" area). Resolution: fixed.
The "Oleg's Trading Post" area in the final chapter couldn't be completed (the dialogue with Kesten Garess didn't start) if Jhod Kavken died during the "Season of Bloom" quest. Resolution: fixed.
Tristian could become uncontrollable after visiting the "Candlemere Tower" area in some cases. Resolution: fixed.
Characters couldn't move at the Capital Inn area after the romance event with Regongar and Octavia. Resolution: fixed.
Tsanna attacked the party at the "Shrine of Lamashtu" area in the final chapter even if players befriended and assigned her as one of the councilors. Resolution: fixed.

The project "Research into the Nature of Curses: Armag" did not become available in some cases after Armag was defeated. Resolution: fixed.

"Warden Needs Your Advice" event couldn't be finished and project to rank up Stability stat was not given if certain answers were selected in the corresponding dialogue. Resolution: fixed.

The game could get stuck if the "Coronation" event intersected with Hell Knight's investigation (the "Deal with the Devil" quest). Resolution: fixed.

Classes & Mechanics

Sorcerers with Sage archetype bloodline still could not select School Power and had the bonus automatically assigned by the fix. Resolution: fixed.

Update Hotfix 1.0.14 (29 October 2018)

Dear pathfinders,

Starting from this hotfix, we are changing our development approach. We have got more than one thousand bugs exterminated by now in the 1.1 version of the game. All of those are waiting to be checked and released. To release the 1.1 version we have to refocus the team effort from making frequent hotfixes to working on this big patch. It would take a whole week at minimum to test every aspect of our complex game. That means we need to reduce the frequency of hotfixes and the amount of fixes they consist of during the next 1-2 weeks (although we will definitely attempt to address the most critical issues whether they arise).

Quests

"The First Crown" quest couldn't be completed if players didn't talk to Salim Ghadafar before all crown parts would be found. Resolution: fixed.
"One Thousand and One Questionable Stories" could start earlier than intended. Resolution: fixed.
There was (one more) problem with Tristian romance not progressing after the dialog with him in the Abandoned Keep area. Resolution: fixed. Affected players should load the save file prior to this dialog and get a special romance option in it ("Let me take you home.")

Areas

Storyteller couldn't craft "Tiger Armor" and "Star Gauntlet" artifacts. Resolution: fixed.
The game could get stuck when leaving the throne room after completing the kingdom event regarding Annamede Belavarah performance at the Capital Square. Resolution: fixed.
Characters could leave the ruined basement part of "House At The Edge Of Time" area with irremovable "Wild Energies" debuff. Resolution: fixed. For effected saves where party are still at the "House At The Edge Of Time" area, players have to visit the ruined basement part and leave it again to remove the debuff.
The Defaced Sister at "Barbarian Camp" area can now count to three and provide a correct line depending on how many of her sisters the player has saved / killed.
Vendors are added to the "Pitax Town" area after conquering the city.
After leaving the councilor post Jhod Kavken could disappear from the Capital Square forever. Resolution: fixed.

At 15th level of Arcane and Sage bloodline Sorcerer the characters received School Power - but were unable to select the school that would receive a bonus. Resolution: Sorcerers can now select the school properly. The game will try to select the favored school for sorcerers that are already past level 15 (the selection is based on the other school related feats and the spell selection of a sorcerer, favoring schools with spell focuses and higher level selected spells).
Weapon enhancing abilities of Magus, Paladin and ranger archetypes Stormwalker and Flamewarden did not affect unarmed attacks. Resolution: While the rules were ambiguous, we decided that there is no need to limit player selection in this case and made them affect unarmed attacks as well as weapons.
Alchemist counted as a divine class for the requirements of Mystic Theurge. Resolution: fixed.
The caster level check was incorrect for "Bloodbird" removal (37 instead of 26). Resolution: fixed.
"Overwhelming Presence" worked incorrectly. Resolution: fixed.
Whenever any character had two identical metamagic rods equipped on his belt the charges were spending on both. Resolution: fixed.
Paladin's archetype Divine Guardian could only use Lay on Hands as a move action on himself (while he should have also been able to use them as a move action on the target of his Divine Troth ability). Resolution: fixed.

Linzi didn't disappear after death if she died with active polymorph effect. Resolution: fixed.

Alchemists who lost their bomb ability due to an issue should have it back.

There could be issue with characters lost their "Weapon Proficiencies". Resolution: fixed.

System

There could be issues with save files if players exited the game while a save file was being written to disk. Resolution: the game will exit only after completing the save procedure.

Interface to chose sub-location to enter was missing at Capital Square in some cases. Players could enter "village-state" Capital Square instead of the available "city-state" one. Resolution: fixed.

Lander Lebeda, Shandra Mervey and Kassil Aldori could appear at the capital regardless of the players decisions. Kingdom events to rank up the "Population" stat could work incorrectly if Lander Lebeda was appointed. Resolution: fixed.
The kingdom rank up event to improve "Loyalty" stat up to X didn't finish correctly (related project couldn't start properly too). Resolution: fixed.
The Baron's animation could be broken after the "Pitaxian Crowd Awaits an Audience" event. Resolution: fixed.
The kingdom event could not be completed correctly if it happened at the same time when the related councilor left the post. This issue could concern Espionage, Military and Stability events if Ekundayo or Amiri took the posts. Resolution: fixed. Players have to re-enter the "Throne Room" area - the stuck event should start after players appoint an adviser to the position.
Kingdom project "Find Mention of Armag's Tomb" could not be available for the players in some cases. Resolution: fixed.

Classes & Mechanics

Armor stats could have incorrect calculation when loading game saves or changing areas. Resolution: fixed.
Swarms and the other monsters of the similar types were incorrectly immune to some area effect spells like Blade Barrier. Resolution: fixed.
"Back to Back" feat applied bonuses multiple times. Resolution: fixed.
Protection Domain was not giving bonuses to saving throws. Resolution: fixed.
"Two Weapon Fighting" feat didn't work if base Dexterity value (without race and equipment modifications) was less than 15. Resolution: fixed.
Paladins that use "Lay on hands" charges for channel energy couldn't get "Selective Channeling" feat. Resolution: fixed.
Splash weapon (Alchemists Fire, Acid Flask, Alchemist's Bomb) could make sneak damage when missed. Resolution: fixed.
Madness Domain "Vision of Madness" ability was unusable. Resolution: fixed.
Mastery fauchard was dealing damage even on failed combat maneuvers and was not giving immunity to the forced movement of the spell Tsunami. Resolution: fixed.
Vicious weapon quality dealt non-magical slashing damage, causing it to be blocked by damage reduction. Resolution: It deals purely magical damage now that is not blocked by anything except qualities that reduce any type of damage.
"Royal Guardian" armor had more Maximum Dexterity Bonus than was mentioned in the description. Resolution: the maximum dexterity bonus was reduced to fit the description.
"Grandmaster's Rod" functioned as just "Greater Maximize Metamagic Rod". Resolution: It functions according to the description now.
"Great Dreamer's Smile" ring added the Spell Penetration bonus twice. Resolution: fixed.
"Mirror Bow" masterpiece second arrow ability did not work. Resolution: fixed.
"Undeath to Death" and "Circle of Death" did not work as well as in tabletop - as at the levels you got them you would not get many encounters with enemies that had less than 10 HD that would warrant the use of sixth level spell. They also did not require material components. Resolution: both spells inflict 100 damage on targets with HD higher than 9, but require 10 diamond dust to cast (similar to tabletop in terms of pricing).
Activatable abilities stopped working for not active companions (though they were kept visualized as active in the interface). Resolution: fixed.
"Weapon Focus" feat applied as bonus feat on the first level of Cleric Crusader didn't work. Resolution: fixed. "Weapon focus" feat will work correctly after the next cleric crusader level-up for the affected save files.
Thassilonian Mage couldn't use scrolls and wands without "Use Magic Devices" skill. Resolution: fixed.
Skeletons summoned by Jaethal's camping ability didn't disappear after death. Resolution: fixed.

Items

One of the vendors at the "Rushlight Tournament" area was selling a unique armor "Ravena's Embrace". Resolution: fixed. For players, who have already bought it, it will remain in the inventory.
"Ravena's Oath" shield didn't actually provide some of the bonuses, listed in the description. Resolution: fixed.
"Mythslayer", "Perfection", "Sovereign" and "Great Dreamer's Smile" no longer grant Base Attack Bonus, but give Additional Attack Bonus instead.
There could be several Briars in Irovetti's inventory. Resolution: fixed.
"Acerbic Ring" didn't give 1d6 to alchemist bomb damage. Resolution: fixed. Players have to reequip it to apply the fix.
"Dwarven Urgrosh +4" and "Gnome Hooked Hammer +4" had incorrect names. Resolution: fixed.

Miscellaneous

There were issues with "Dreamscape" area lightening. Resolution: fixed.
New pack of typos and localization fixes.

System

The Unity could chose to use OpenGL API instead of Metal on Mac platform in some cases which could cause a crash on game start. Resolution: we still couldn't reproduce this case locally but potential fix for this issue was implemented.
Other players autosaves can no longer overwrite "Last Azlanti" mode saves. Please, load your old "Last Azlanti" saves at least once to ensure this fix is applied to them.
Loading an autosave made while creating a mercenary could break the game. Resolution: the game doesn't make autosaves in this case any longer. Affected saves should be also corrected.
There could be issues with cloaks physics simulations on some computers. "Clothdisabled" command line switch was added to help with related game crashes.
Some of the players encountered a bug, which made their alchemist characters to lose the Bomb ability. We are going to fix this issue in the nearest hotfix (1.0.13). Update: we've just found the nature of issue, which leads to alchemists losing bombs. We are on it right now and the fix should be available tomorrow, but for now, please, refrain from using Acerbic Ring and Gear's Rule items. Moreover, de-equip them from your alchemist characters to avoid losing bombs.

Specific choices are automatically selected to resolve these events for affected saves files (for characters with good alignment - taxes are not collected twice; project for the road construction is available. Neutral alignment - Oleg's Trading Post moved under the jurisdiction of Restov; project to improve diplomatic affairs with Restov is available. Evil alignment - baron's troops are sent to strengthen Oleg's Trading Post; project to improve fortification is available).
Upgrading an artisan's shop doesn't disable the artisan any longer.
Classes & Mechanics

Players could get two animal companions from different classes. Resolution: the animal companion players got later do not appear any longer. Its levels were added to the first animal companion.
Non-Aasimar characters could select Wings as a feat after 10th level. Resolution: only Aasimars can select the Wings feat now.
Clerics with Sun domain did not get any domain spells. Resolution: fixed.

"Assemble a Militia in Varnhold" could be started before the player was able to enter Varnhold. Resolution: fixed.
Not all the guards were triggered into aggressive state while completing "Intervene in Varnhold" objective, making the quest impossible to complete. Resolution: fixed. For players, who already encountered this issue, Tirval has a new dialog to complete the objective.
Amiri's sword repair didn't count in the companion's quest ("Reforged Blade"). Resolution: fixed. Affected saves files have also been corrected.
Valerie's first companion quest was easy to miss - its starting event was active for 10 days only. Resolution: the active period of the starting event was extended.
"Search for poachers somewhere in the Narlmarches" objective could not be completed due to the chance that the related special encounter didn't happen. Resolution: fixed.
The dialogue with Eimar could be interrupted ("The River's Justice" quest), making the quest impossible to complete. Resolution: fixed.
Romance with Tristian didn't continue in some cases after events at the "Abandoned keep" area during the "Betrayer's flight" quest. Resolution: fixed. Unfortunately, the affected saves couldn't be fixed. Those players who want to continue romance with Tristian have to use saves before "Betrayer's flight" quest completion.

Players who strayed from their prescripted alignment as divine classes and lost their spells asked us to provide them with a way to atone for their transgressions. Resolution: Jhod Kavken and Arsinoe sell Scrolls of Atonement now. Using that scroll returns you to the alignment you selected during character creation at the start of the game which in turn should help characters if they lost their spells.
There was empty description for the buff that caused 50% chance of a spell failure due to the First World influence in some areas. Resolution: fixed.
Warpainted Skull of Duthica disappeared after use and did not summon two barbarian spirits. Resolution: Warpainted skull can be properly used once per day and summons two barbarian spirits.
There could be two copies of Grimoire in Blakemoor's inventory. Resolution: fixed.
Companions who died from the Disintegrate spell disappeared from the party. Resolution: fixed.
Jaethal and Linzi became invisible if they died from the Disintegrate spell. Resolution: fixed.

Auto-managed kingdom will now check that important projects are done in time to progress within the game.
Kingdom event signalizing the failure to complete Ekun`s second companion quest could trigger even if this quest was completed. Resolution: fixed.
If the kingdom is about to be destroyed, the game will offer the player to turn on the Invincible Kingdom mode.
Classes & Mechanics

Restoration didn’t remove all of the temporary negative levels. Resolution: fixed.
Finesse Training didn't work with Two Weapon Fighting. Resolution: fixed.
Reuse of the "Summon Monster" class ability (Monster Tactician inquisitor archetype) didn't delete the summons from the previous cast. Corpses of summoned Monitor Lizards could be looted. Resolution: both issues are fixed.
Some players could get an additional animal companion during level-up in case the current animal companion was dead. Resolution: the issue is fixed. Effected saves is going to be fixed in the nearest hotfix.
Miscellanous

Linzi's ring (Shelyn's Clemency) didn't work properly. Resolution: Linzi is teleported to the Capital after her death.
New pack of typos and localization fixes. Missing CN characters (踝豹鹤) are added.
This hotfix happens to be a big one – more like a patch, in fact. A big and important feature comes live in this version: from now on, you can choose between different Kingdom region upgrades - which become available together with the new state of your capital, the city outfit.

Finally, there is one more thing we at Owlcat wanted to talk to you about.

Unfortunately, there is a downside to the speed with which we solve newly-found issues - to be completely honest, it doesn’t leave us enough time to test all of the game thoroughly after each fix. It takes a whole week at minimum to test every aspect of our complex game, so delivering 2-3 hotfixes each week leaves our team only enough time to check fixes locally. Still, we know this is no excuse for issues that persist in the game, as well as those that are added with some of the fixes. Every bug report we receive literally tears us apart with the feeling of guilt for not finding and solving the issue before the game went live. As such, we want to be open with all you Pathfinders, so that you understand our philosophy and our current pipeline. Right now we feel it is more important to keep fixing critical issues as quickly as possible, rather than to stop releasing hotfixes for about 2 weeks and focus on a big patch.

Once we are sure all major problems have been addressed, we will get back to a more stable, "patch-oriented" development approach.

Jubilost didn't appear in the tavern during the "Door to Nowhere" quest. Resolution: fixed.
The NPC Amalia didn't appear at the Capital Square after citizen revolt in the Season of Bloom chapter (Tristian's "Kingdom of the Cleansed" quest). Resolution: fixed.

Disintegrated units were invisible after resurrection. Resolution: fixed.

There was a mistake in the Fighter class description, leading to wrong expectations about class development. Resolution: fixed.

System

Some players complained that video cards might be running out of memory. Resolution: a couple of video memory leaks are fixed.
We have noticed there were a lot of questions and misunderstanding surrounding our game’s crafting feature, the artisans, so we’ve decided to clear things up a little bit. As a kingdom’s artisans become better at their craft, they can reach ever higher degrees of mastery, mechanically represented by different tiers. The quality of gifts they present to the player depends on their tier, with their finest work – the masterpiece – serving as the reward for reaching the artisan’s highest tier. To increase an artisan’s tier, you need to complete their respective quests, but that is not the only requirement. You also need to improve your newborn country, so that the artisans have access to better tools and materials – that is, you need to rank up the different kingdom stats associated with the artisan. As already mentioned, once an artisan’s mastery reaches the highest tier, they will present you with an item of great power – the masterpiece. At the moment, some players may experience an issue where an artisan tells the player they’ve started work on a masterpiece even though not all the necessary requirements have been met. This will be fixed in one of the nearest updates. Also, we are currently working to make the process of improving an artisan’s tier more obvious and reactive.

PS. IMPORTANT NOTE: For anyone having troubles with Linzi disappearing from the party - you can fix that by opening the party manager tool anywhere in the game, for example on the global map or when leaving your capital.

The description for Enemy Difficulty settings didn't reveal all the mechanical elements altered by this option. Resolution: a more detailed description has been added for the Enemy Difficulty settings.
Kingdom

It was unclear and confusing that after defeating the main threat of the chapter, all of the kingdom events associated with that threat remained active. Resolution: after defeating the main threat of the chapter, all of the kingdom events associated with that threat are removed from the barony. In case there are too many of such events, the kingdom is considered damaged and its development is slowed down. This state can be removed with special new barony project.
It was not always clear that some events can destroy the kingdom if not addressed. Resolution: a more detailed description added for the events that damage the kingdom and projects that remove these events.
Classes

Valerie's quest ability "Valorous" provided Strength and Constitution bonuses instead of Strength and Charisma. Resolution: "Valorous" ability provides Strength and Charisma, as per description.
Metamagic rods didn't work for sorcerers. Resolution: fixed.
Enemy Difficulty settings affected saving throws twice - the first time by increasing the enemy ability scores and the second time with a specific bonus to saving throws. Such implementation forced players to avoid spells with saving throws on the higher difficulties. Resolution: Saving throws are now affected by the Enemy Difficulty settings only once by increasing of base ability scores.
Miscellaneous

New pack of localization fixes.
System

Some players have persistent issues loading game saves that we were unable to reproduce so far. After analyzing possible threats that may cause this issue we implemented improvements that hopefully would fix the problem.
Some players complained about being thrown out of the game and to the Main Menu while entering the Throne Room (including the exit while trying to rest at the capital). Resolution: fixed.
Update 1.0.6 hotfix (08 October 2018)

As you know, the game's save files were affected by the stat stacking issue from 1.0.6. This bug proved to be a tricky one. We fixed the nature of the issue yesterday. The second part of the fix that we are just about to release will restore the affected save files to normal. Please, keep in mind that the first loading of your save file could take longer than usual (from 3 to 7 minutes, as our tests show), as the game will convert it to fix the stacked bonuses problem.

Quests

The Secluded Lodge area has an empty caption on the Global Map during the "Deal with the Devil" quest. Resolution: fixed.
The option to give an Emerald Necklace to Kimo was not available. Resolution: fixed.
"A Score to Settle" quest did not work correctly if the player met Ekun after Kargadd was killed. Resolution: fixed.
Some quest characters did not appear at the Capital Square during companion quests under certain circumstances. Resolution: fixed.
Areas

In some cases, players couldn't return Bartholomew his whip. Resolution: fixed.
Some players complained about a missing part of the Storyteller dialogue in the Throne Room – there was no option to sell mementos. Resolution: fixed.
Flintlock Grasslands area will no longer be inaccessible after all events are completed in that location (this is to reduce the size of save files).
In some cases, after the dialogue with Amiri at the end of Flintlock Grasslands only Amiri stayed under player's control - the rest of the party could go missing. Resolution: fixed.
Incorrect loot icon on the Map of Old Sycamore Dungeon (no loot was available, in fact). Resolution: fixed.
The wrong dialogue could start with captive Amiri at Flintlock Grasslands. Resolution: fixed.
Some area elements could be loaded incorrectly during the "Burying the Past" quest at Ruined Watchtower. Resolution: fixed.
Bartholomew's dialogue at Wizard's Laboratory could sometimes display incorrect answer options. Resolution: fixed.
One of the options in the dialogue with Alex Covenorb was recursive and didn't allow to end the dialogue. Resolution: fixed.
Bartholomew related events could become broken in case of his early death from the Troll/bandits/random monsters. Resolution: fixed.
The player could miss a few important doors at the Sepulcher of Forgotten Heroes area. Resolution: the doors are highlighted to draw the player's attention.
Items

Save/load could corrupt items in the Baron's chest - they lost their magical features until the next save/load while they are in the party Inventory. Resolution: fixed. All items that were corrupted have been restored.
There were no options to learn feats to use the following exotic weapons: Dwarven Urgrosh, Gnome Hooked Hammer, Orc Double Axe, Two-bladed Sword. Resolution: "Exotic Weapon Proficiency" feat has the corresponding choices now.
Such exotic weapons as the Gnome Hooked Hammer, Orc Double Axe ? Sling Staff were not counted as special weapon for gnomes, half-orcs and halflings accordingly. Resolution: fixed.
User Interfaces

There were issues with "Combat text", "Party information in combat", "Enemy information in combat" (so called Overtips settings) and "Dialogue" settings : 1) players did not understand that these settings are stored within the save file; 2) the value of these settings could be changed by switching "Immersion Mode". Resolution: the Overtips and "Dialogue" settings are moved to "Difficulty" page of the Options. Difficulty page is no longer available form Main Menu.
Cleric couldn't be level-upped if there were no options in domain progression. Resolution: fixed.
Spells from another character’s spells list could show up during a caster level-up. Resolution: fixed.
Key binding for the tactical pause is displayed correctly in the tutorial message now.
Kingdom

The "Invincible Kingdom" option was added. When turned on, your barony or kingdom will not be destroyed even when its state drops below Crumbling. This option is switched on by default for the "Story mode" difficulty. Please note that story critical events tied to the main threat of the chapter can still destroy your kingdom! However, you will get several warnings before that happens.
The artisan Bokken would come every time you get to the Throne Room with the same dialogue. Resolution: fixed.
Different cutscenes would sometimes start at the same time at Throne Room. Resolution: fixed for all new save files. Be aware that the current saves may still suffer from this issue, unfortunately.
Some visitors (artisans) had wrong dialogues at Throne Room. Resolution: fixed.
Classes

Characters lost Protection From Energy effect after load. Resolution: fixed.
Misc

Wrong sound effects for druid wild shape transformations. Resolution: fixed.
New pack of localization fixes for FR, DE, ZH (mostly).
Update 1.0.5 (05 October 2018)

Dear Pathfinders,

After considering the upcoming feedback we decided that it will be better to focus on releasing hotfixes with the best possible frequency rather then spending time on testing the next big version. The way we see it now we will keep preparing hotfixes during the next 1-2 weeks. The so called "big patch" with several hundreds improvements and minor fixes will be released after October, 22nd.

Quests

Tristian's dialogue may not work correctly during Saving Grace quest. Resolution: fixed.
If the player skips the first quest with Bartholomew and then returns with a whip, the incorrect dialogue is triggered. Resolution: fixed.
2nd Valerie romance event may not start and lock the party in the tavern instead. - Resolution: fixed. Players already trapped in the tavern need to exit it for the event to start correctly.
Areas

Amiri may not appear in the beginning of Flintlock Grassland area and the story events don't start in this case. Resolution: fixed.
Amiri returns as not active companion after the events at Flintlock Grassland. If the player takes her into the party she may be not visible and not controllable. Resolution: fixed.
There may be infinite loading after entering the portal at Temple of the Elk. Resolution: fixed.
Bokken may disappear from Oleg's Tradind Post in some cases. Resolution: fixed.
Chief Sootscale can't be killed if the player returns to the first level of the Old Sycamore - Dungeon after the "baronation" event. Resolution: fixed.
Tristian may not leave the location after meeting with Raven. Resolution: fixed.
Players are unable to reach the Hunting Grounds area - required for Ekun quest - if they decided not to participate in the Noble Safari event earlier. Resolution: fixed.

Missing description for some abilities in class progression table for example for Sage Sorcerer. Resolution: class progression table was improved.

There are cases when quest's objectives are not visible in the Quest Journal, for example for Twice-Born Warlord quest. Resolution: fixed.

When the boss of the chapter is defeated on the exact day she/he is supposed to destroy the kingdom, the corresponding event that is destroying your kingdom is removed.
Technic League Encampment is inaccessible during artisan's quest to get inubrix. Resolution: fixed.
If Kassil was chosen as an envoy and then was killed at Flintlock Grassland he might still appear during coronation event at Throne Room. Resolution: fixed.
Varnhold and Pitax settlements are not working. Resolution: fixed.
Classes

Jaethal is not immune to negative levels. Resolution: fixed.
Feyspeaker archetype of druid previously has orisons that wrongly based their DCs on Wisdom, instead of scaling off Charisma like all other Feyspeaker spells. Resolution: Feyspeaker orisons scale their DCs off Charisma.
At character creation, the game does not change stat recommendation for Feyspeaker, pointing the Wisdom as recommended and Charisma as not recommended. Resolution: - Charisma is a recommended stat for Feyspeaker.
Vital Strike feat does not give the appropriate usable ability. Resolution: fixed.
Extra Arcane Pool feat does not increase the pool of Eldritch Scions. Resolution: fixed.
Weapon Training bonus isn't shown in the tooltips of attack rolls. Resolution: fixed.
Hideous Laughter requires target intelligence to be higher than 2 for you to be able to cast it. This, combined with penalties for Weak Enemies (default setting for enemy difficulty on Easy Mode and Story Mode), lead to the case that some enemies in this weakened state are too dumb to get the jokes. Resolution: fixed, the Hideous Laughter now takes only the base intelligence of the target into account.
Greater Vital Strike has the same description as normal Vital Strike. Resolution: Greater Vital Strike now has correct description.
Duelist Precise Strike has no description and is not visible in the class progression table and in the character ability list. It also works only for characters with a sneak attack. Resolution: both problems are fixed.
Players may select Point-Blank Master, Slashing Grace and Fencing Grace while not having Weapon Focus/Weapon Specialization with an appropriate weapon. This lead to the case when they see an empty list of available selection. Resolution: Slashing Grace now requires Weapon Focus with a one-handed slashing weapon, Fencing Grace requires Weapon Focus with a one-handed piercing weapon and Point Blank Master requires Weapon Specialization with a ranged weapon.
Freedom of Movement is classified as a Necromancy spell. Resolution: Freedom of - Movement properly counts as an Abjuration spell now.
Misc

FX trails may work not correctly after multiple save/load. Resolution: fixed. New pack of localization fixes for FR, DE, ZH.

System

There are reports of quits to the main menu when changing scenes on rare occasions. Resolution: more logging is added and a temporary workaround is implemented (there should be no quits but area lighting may not work correctly).

Update 1.0.4 (02 October 2018)

Dear Pathfinders, Unfortunately, there is a problem with the Windows version of the hotfix we’ve just uploaded. While the Mac and Linux versions function properly, the Windows build doesn’t have 80% of the fixes we’ve implemented since Monday. For those who want to know the details, the main issue is that at character generation and level-up UI, the list of spells have become invisible. The list is still there, you can still use them and click on them, but you cannot really see them except for the tooltips. This happened due to a bug in our infrastructure, and, while we’ve already tracked it down and dealt with it, it will take several hours until the issue is completely resolved. As we speak, the servers at our studio are compiling the correct version of the hotfix for Windows. Once again, this issue should not concern our Mac and Linux users – as far as we know, all is fine in their versions of the hotfix. We are very sorry for the inconvenience, and we’re doing our best to get it right this time.

Dueling Mastery requires Dodge instead of Weapon Finesse and did not give proper Shield Bonus to AC and initiative bonus. Resolution: fixed.
Back to Back feat does not work. Resolution: fixed.
Sword Saint Magus bonus to AC from Canny Defense does not recalculate when Intelligence were changing (recalculates only on level ups). Resolution: fixed.

Use Magic Device DC for scrolls is 20 plus scroll's caster level. We considered it too high, especially since some scrolls like Remove Blindness have higher caster levels intentionally. Resolution: DC is changed to 20 plus scroll's spell level.
Jaethal's camping ability 'Undead Guardians' produces more than two skeletons. Resolution: fixed.
New pack of localization fixes for FR, DE, ZH.
System

There is an issue with changing Language and Graphic settings on some systems. Resolution: fixed.
Character doll appearance and some other visual elements spontaneously reset to default state. Resolution: fixed.
The graphic options resets to defaults every time the game starts. Resolution: fixed.
We are following closely all the discussions considering game difficulty and some other system mechanics. Hello everyone!

We’ve just started work on a big patch that we expect to be available at the end of the next week. It doesn't mean we will stop releasing hotfixes - we will keep addressing the major issues, for sure – however, new hotfixes may not be available every day. For example, there will be no hotfix tomorrow since we really need to give the dev team a little rest before the next week’s run. We are sorry if your specific issue hasn't been addressed so far - we keep track of every message you posted in the bug section and we’re doing our best to fix known problems asap!

Major Issues

Custom companions hiring was not available. Resolution: fixed.
Quests

Quest for artisan Shariel didn't work correctly. Resolution: fixed.
No companion dialogues with Jaethal, Valerie, Linzi, Harrim in the Captial or at Oleg's Trading Post after Old Sycamore dungeon. Resolution: fixed.
Ekundayo’s companion quest prompted you to tell Ekun about your victory over Kargadd even if Ekun is dead. Resolution: Ekundayo's quest now fails automatically if you kill him.
Jaethal couldn’t be found at the Capital square during her first quest. Resolution: fixed.
Missing Child Quest: invisible answer in Tig's dialog. Resolution: fixed (player needs to talk to Tig again)
Areas

A specific dialogue option in Chapter 6 broke a story-critical cutscene. Resolution: fixed.
Divine services didn’t work for non-divine casters in Chapter 1. Resolution: Jhod Kavken will now read divine scrolls if there are no divine casters in the party.
User Interfaces

Spell filters did not work properly in the character creation interface. Resolution: fixed.
Malfunction in class feature sorting. Resolution: fixed.
Tooltip with empty description for Strength damage. Resolution: fixed.
Kingdom

Mim's workshop couldn’t be built in Silverstep Village. Resolution: fixed.
Multiple "GreatSuccess" text strings in one of the kingdom events. Resolution: fixed.
Artisan Varrask didn't start the dialogue in the village after suggestion to speak to him. Resolution: fixed.
NPC Kergan didn't start the dialogue after a cutscene on Thorn River Ford. Resolution: fixed.
Battle with Bokken didn't stop correctly when he is in low Hit Points. Resolution: fixed.
Classes

Rage and Defensive Stances are no longer switched off when a character is disabled due to adverse status effects. These stances are switched off only when a character falls unconscious.
Abyssal Bloodline ability Grow Claws should now activate properly.
Artifice Domain ability should now properly activate on Inquisitor.
Knowledge Domain now also adds Lore (Nature) to class skills.
2 level Eldritch Archer couldn’t cast anything but ranged touch spells. Resolution: fixed.
Misc

Skeleton Guardians summoned during the Rest by Jaethal no longer drop loot.
Missing or wrong German, French, and Chinese localisations. Resolution: the next batch of issues is fixed.
System

Possible crash when loading a cloud save after "fresh" game installation. Resolution: fixed
Some fixes to expect in the next two hotfixes:

We are working on an issue with Pre-order and Kickstarter in-game bonuses. For all players who have these bonuses and start new game after Hotfix 1.0.2 all rewards should be available in the chest at Oleg's Trading Post or Throne Room areas. We are going to make these rewards available for saves made before Hotfix 1.0.2 with the next hotfix. There will be also fixes for Amiri and Jubilost companion quests.
Also we'd like to ask you for some help! Sometimes it can be hard to understand the exact nature of a reported issue, or even what the issue is at all. We would be very grateful if you could send bug descriptions to technical@owlcatgames.com , putting the issue’s name in the “Subject” field. Please, pay attention that attaching your save file and logs significantly increases speed of bug fixing, as well as attaching screenshots! Update 1.0.2 (28 September 2018)

Hello everyone!

Thank you very much for your ongoing feedback. It encourages us to work fiercely on polishing the game. We are desperately sorry that we can't fix everything at once. But let us assure you that every comment will be addressed.

New Features

Changes to the difficulty.
We hear a lot of comments about the difficulty of the fights. We are introducing several changes - we introduce changes to the easier difficulty modes to enhance the player experience for those, who selected them. On the Story Mode difficulty, such mechanics as Damage Reduction, Damage Immunity, and Regeneration will be switched off, while on Easy mode their power will be reduced (less reduction or regeneration respectively). We are adding an additional warning to the Hard and Unfair modes to provide better information about upcoming challenges and the general difficulty of the game so that players can make an informed choice. We'd like to stress the Normal mode is a recommended one, especially for the people not familiar with the Pathfinder Roleplaying Game system and for the first time players.
We are also making some changes to the some of the encounters in the prologue and 1st chapter of the game. To make it clear, we are not reducing general difficulty in all settings, we are fixing several places where this difficulty was not intentional. Also, we provide more information on overcoming the challenge in the place where it was:

Scare ability in the final fight in Prologue is changed to the communal Protection from Alignment: Good. There are almost no abilities to counter Scare effect in the prologue party, so this ability tends to make combat too chaotic and unnecessary random on the harder difficulty settings.
The first encounter on the road to the Oleg's Trading Post was never intended to be a great challenge, this area is still part of the tutorial, and difficulty of the fight is taking away from learning about the camp. Wolves were changed to Thylacines, their stats are close, but Thylacines have no trip ability.
Bokken will properly warn the player about the swarms in the cave and provide them with several flask of Alchemist's Fire. In addition, the tutorial about swarms and how to deal with them will be shown when entering the cave.
It should be mentioned that the 1st chapter's story is branching into the two different paths, making some of the encounters harder than desired on the first path selected.
Fangberry quest is very hard on low level. Resolution:
Bokken warns about quest difficulty and gives 6 flasks of Alchemist's Fire.
The special tutorial message is added about dealing with spider swarm.
Bear-like Treant in Temple of the Elk will now have less Damage Reduction.
Bear-like Treant fight difficulty is reduced if the player gets there earlier enough (at low levels and without previously following Tartuccio). The fix won't be applied for games saved within the area.
Some companions joined the party fatigued and damaged in Ancient Tomb and Old Sycamore areas. Resolution: fixed.
Ancient Tomb: persuaded companion now joins the party after a fight with Tartuccio's Mercenaries.
Random encounters with creatures too difficult to the current average party level could be rolled. Resolution: fixed
Quests

There may be issues with Valery romance progressing. Resolution: fixed.
Crash to the main menu when certain romance scenes are activated. Resolution: fixed.
Areas

One of the story development paths causes a wrong Capital state in Chapter 3. Resolution: fixed
50% spellcasting fail chance after entering the castle in Verdant Chambers location. Resolution: fixed.
Сut-scene may freeze at the Capital square at the beginning of the second act. Resolution: fixed.
Sycamore hall is hard to find. Resolution: marker on the local map is added.
Some monsters in random encounters gave an incorrect amount of experience. Resolution: fixed.
Items

Amulet of Mighty Fists now properly gives bonuses to attack rolls.
User Interfaces

There is no way to understand the nature of zero damage. Resolution: Information about immunities and damage reduction is added to the Battle Log (available in tooltips).
Tutorial messages about mechanics of the "damage reduction" were added before combats with the first creatures with damage reduction
Time delay for tooltip appearance after a mouse click was too big. Resolution: reduced.
An issue with male elven hairs and capes visualization while playing Ranger and Rogue classes. Resolution: fixed.
NPC Hassuf has empty lines in vendor list. Resolution: fixed.
Unlocalized loot window title. Resolution: fixed.
An issue with Chinese localization in Quest notification. Resolution: fixed.
Kingdom

An Ancient Formula quest may be reported as completed before actually completing it. Resolution: fixed.
Classes

Controlled Fireball damages allies. Resolution: fixed.
Wizard familiar bond list has Hunter's Bond available for selection. Resolution: fixed.
Misc

Missing or wrong German, French and Chinese localization. Resolution: the next batch of issues is fixed.
No text on computers with Spanish and Italian system locale. Resolution: fixed.
An issue with the backer items description in Credits. Resolution: fixed.
Several achievements were unlocking incorrectly. Resolution: fixed.
System

Loading may cause an issue with previously saved file. Resolution: fixed.
Graphics settings auto-detection may detects higher configuration on Linux. Resolution: fixed.
Crash while saving with specific path or locale. Resolution: fixed.
Another issue we hear a lot about - the problem with the custom companions - and some other stuff as well will be addressed in the next Hotfix.

Issue with saves loading on Linux and Mac builds. Resolution: fixed.

Romances with two companions simultaneously may cause an issue (neverending loading). Resolution: fixed.

The first game launch may take several minutes. Resolution: As a quick improvement added a warning about this issue on the initial loading screen. We will try to improve the first loading time in the upcoming hotfixes.
It's difficult to distinguish newly revealed areas on Global Map. Resolution: add FX and question symbol for recently revealed locations.
Issues with custom companion: the character model may be not visible in the Character UI. Resolution: fixed.
"Crow" (kingdom "messenger") may break Global Map UI. Resolution: fixed.
Specific combination of graphic options may break UI decals on several areas. Resolution: fixed.
Classes

Some tooltips with class descriptions have unclear wording. Resolution: improved.
System

Random crash on computers with specific timezone settings. Resolution: fixed.
Issue with switching game window between several displays. Resolution: fixed.
General game client stability improvements.
Localization

Several strings are missed in German localization. Resolution: fixed.
Special Characters were not visible (French and Turkish system localization settings). Resolution: fixed.
Several non-localized German strings. Resolution: fixed. We are watching the situation with the balancing issues and listening to your comments and suggestions. We will address these issues in the upcoming hotfixes (some fixes for specific encounters will be available in the next hotfix which we are going to release in a day).

PSA: Versions 2.0.0m and 2.0.1 have an issue where natural armor bonus is applied to some enemies twice, which makes some required-to-beat areas extremely difficult.
Apparently they're also screwing up custom portraits in some way, not sure on specifics here.

Hey there, new guy here. Honestly I just came a looking for the Preorder DLC among the other item ones. I actually own the game besides that because, well. I like it. It's a good game. Any chance we could see some 2.0.1 versions of the DLC installers anytime soon? Apparently my old method of installing previous version of it don't work anymore, much to my annoyance.

...also auto inventory sorting may be broken now. during passing different type of inventory tabs, some items are placed to new locations in that tab not close order. I mean that some items may be in top section of the tab, others may be in down section.

So wait...is 2.0.0 and forward Enhanced Edition? Also, does that mean there will be no 1.3.x to 2.x.x patch?

EDIT/ADD: Also, if I use the 2.0.0 installer and the same for the DLC, then apply the patch to 2.0.1, Im all fine to go? Or do I need to install just the base game 2.0.0, then the 2.0.0 to 2.0.1 patch and then the 2.0.1 versions of the DLC?

EDIT/ADD2: In any case I give my great thanks though of course!
