Hi, a little question. I have installed the windows version of Baldurs Gate II Enhaced Edition with the "Enhaced Edition Trilogy" mod, so my question is:
Is it possible to copy the contents of the windows version to the linux one and have the mods working? I mean its the same engine so all the data files are the same no?

I've read that due to the way linux and windows differs in how they mark end of line in files as well as slashes in paths, there are some compatibility issues with mods that you have to work out. So I doubt it's just copy/paste.

Yeah, I tried but it throw an error saying "attempt to parse a nil value" after scanning the movies folder (number 13), something I noticed is that if you copy the config and the saves of windows to the linux folder (the config folder I mean) it lasts more and pass to crash from 13 to 18 but thats as far as I got
Added in 1 minute 35 seconds:
the next thing I want to try is to install the Linux version and then installing the mods on windows going back to linux and test if it works (it worked with a minor mod eseries)

Can anyone upload an linux executable patched for eet? the only diference I can think between the executables is that the windows one was patched and perhaps thats the error, I am trying to install EET on linux but it does not detect the game, I just need the executable not the entire game or if you could tell me why does not detect bgee that would be also apreciated (by the way the BGEE installation that I am using is the GOG one)

IT WORKED! after I mounted my drive with case insensitive mode the game launchs! So I can now install mods on windows and play it on linux. (BTW the binary apparently was not necesary, the only reason I thought it was is because in the backup directory of EET was an baldur.exe)
