Are the Serious.Sam.HD.The.First.Encounter.MULTi8-PLAZA and Serious.Sam.HD.The.Second.Encounter-PLAZA versions good?

Both games were released after windows 10, so they should work OK.

Hello everybody!

I have two questions about this release: GRAND.THEFT.AUTO.3.CRACKFIX.REPACK-DEViANCE

Inside the file there is "gta3.exe" and something like "PPF-O-MATIC.EXE/dev-gt3a_really_working.ppf". The nfo says to apply this "PPF-O-MATIC" in the ".bin" file on CD1 or use "gta3", but what would these files be "PPF-O-MATIC.EXE/dev-gt3a_really_working. ppf"? I know it's a patch, but what exactly it does I don't know.

"gta3.exe" is version 1.0 or 1.1? I ask this because version 1.0 works better with numerous mods.

About the patch v1.1, it came out in june 2002, crackfix is from a month before, so it should be 1.0

So, in other words, GTA III's "PPF-O-MATIC" would be a type of "indirect crack" injected directly into the CD? This would eliminate the use of a conventional No-CD (crack), thus keeping the original ".exe"... (?) Interesting...

Came across this release today: System_Shock_2_v2_48-RAZOR. The nfo looks like a Razor1911 release.
Are RAZOR and Razor1911 same group? Looks like there are a bunch of releases under name RAZOR

i always assumed they were the same group, as my mind reads it as: "razor" regardless of any numbers/letters before or after it.

Yes of course they belong together. RAZOR seems to be 0day section and Razor1911 ISO section. Comparable to DARKZER0 and DARKSIDERS

probably 2 different scene groups? either one would work fine, just check versions

The *clone* versions are the original discs as when you buy them in a store. The others are the *cracked* copies of the discs.

Well, if the group releases an unlocker or a dlc cracked, yes.

i'm looking for patch v1.2.4 for Risk of Rain 2. i got Risk.of.Rain.2.Survivors.of.the.Void-DOGE but this is version v1.2.1.0, it never got updated. will i have to get the Clean Steam File instead?

i've got another question. i'm seeing that Battlefield.3-RELOADED has 2 files named "File www.3dmgame.com.url (122B)" and another one in Chinese "File 说明.txt (2.47KB)". were those included in the original scene release? what are they?

So does anyone know what's the deal with Half.Life.1.Anthology-I_KnoW? How was it not nuked? The NFO doesn't match up with the install process whatsoever, unless I missed something. The installer just dumps the .gcf files and attempting to run the game will just bring up a Steam login - or so it would if the installer worked, as Steam.dll is missing. I had to use the HL2 disc version of Steam to get the login prompt (but this replaced the platform.gcf with a 2004 one).
So how were people meant to play this back then? Oldest generic true Steamless emu I found is from CS:CZDS by Strogino CS Portal (yes I'm aware it's a bad souce) and is dated to January 2008. I couldn't find earlier revEmu builds either. I have no clue how to make the VENGEANCE emu work, is that what people used in 06?


Edit: Ok so I managed to find the HL1 games installer by Fuzzlet on CS RIN from 2005, I guess that might work with the Anthology idk I haven't tried it yet.

Oh and the weird 2008 Steam emu I found might be SteamEmu 3.x, it has a line "Extracted=1".
