The project adds many improvements to the original games, including a redesigned rendering using OpenGL or D3D9, as well as the ability to compile and run on other operating systems and platforms.
INTRUCTIONS:
1. Download either GTA3.tar.gz (GTA III) or GTAVC.tar.gz (GTA Vice City), these are games executable. Extract.
2. Download re3_revc_engine.tar.gz, this is reversed engineered runner for Linux Native. Extract.
3. Copy the content of the folders within re3_revc_engine.tar.gz to the respective game executable folder.
If you play GTA Vice City, extract GTAVC.tar.gz and re3_revc_engine.tar.gz, then copy the content of re3_revc_engine/gtavc/ to GTAVC
If you play GTA III, extract GTA3.tar.gz and re3_revc_engine.tar.gz, then copy the content of re3_revc_engine/gta3/ to GTA3
4. Run start.sh and enjoy your games.
