I was just downloading NBA 2Ks today, 2014 is really when they stepped up in size, 2K14 (2013) is still 7GB and 2K15 (2014) is 37GB. Though they already started with 3DVD in 2013, look at Max Payne 3. Later on they didn't even use DVDs anymore, just one big ISO.
50GB+ games eat up even 4TB drive for breakfast.
