Not that strange, from the same page:

King's Bounty is notably considered the forerunner of the Heroes of Might and Magic series of games.

I hope someone dumps the HOMM addons, if not, I will have to buy them myself. The not collector (big box) ones are not that expensive, but it's hard to get them outside USA and Germany as they don't like to ship abroad.
