tenasscity, if you are referring to v1.2.0.0...
GOG is not steam, though they do have an online client which may update games as steam does.
GOG offline updates usually take a bit more time to release, especially if an update was released late on a Friday.
As mentioned in other posts GOG rarely release offline updates during weekends. (They like to have time off).

here for the gog offline installer version available to download at the moment...

yet, as you can see, but we do have the most recent patch updates up to v1.1.9.8.

The update for Sins of a Solar Empire: Rebellion, that came out mid december, finally made it to GOG too. No idea why so delayed. Version 1.93 (17MB patch) - Done. thx nelex
